It's the client that decides to 'use' or not use a .bm2 (or .wa2, or whatever) file that it finds in a lvz, it has nothing to do with the lvz file itself If you read the LVZ format, you'll notice that the LVZ file only stores information about the name of the file, and the data in the file... and then mapobjects/screenobjects but that has nothing to do with it. It does not have any way to know if the file is a 'ressource file', or just a plain bitmap or other file

(!@#$%^&* i play way too much phoenix wright lately) You wrote the import & export functions, i made the interface & interactions with the imported data that was for LVZ LVL open/save were already written before I even started working on DCME Apart from the few add-ons (verifying # of flags, fixing tileset importing, ssme-compatible...)
  7. chatbg.bm2? what would that be? in a lvz, 'ressource files' (like ship1.bm2 or things like that) are not seen differently than plain bitmaps used for mapobjects or screenobjects... So the 'chatbg.bm2 not being recognized' is just impossible... in no way is it an issue that MGB can do anything about (in his LVZtoolkit, atleast). If you want a background for your chat, just put a screenobject aftergauges at 0,0, relative to chat and Witchie, just hook me up on MSN I'll "translate" that vb code in c++ for you... By the way that part of code was done by Drake, not me

My point was that noone would want to read a 3 pages topic with NO more solution than the sticky topic... if someone wants to start a new thread on this... fine... But this is a technical support forum, "freedom of expression" is only good when it applies to the topic, and when the topic is relevant...   16. Do you even get the 'Entering arena...' screen? Where exactly does it stops doing stuff? And you might want to try other zones, see if it's a routing issue between you and TW's server or something... You can also try doing a Trace
  17. Have you tried logging in other zones? Does it appear green on your list?

  20. If you use different tiles for each half, they will open/close separatly... But you can't predict which will close first or whatever... they might aswell open at the same time The 4 tiles that are used for, say, horizontal door, are controlled separatly, so you'd use, for example, the first one for one half, and the 2nd tile for the other half But as I said.. the timing can't be guaranteed

It's the 'door' tiles, just like in SSME... there are 8 different door tiles. 4 of them represent the 4 animation frames of , say, horizontal doors, the 4 others are for vertical doors (It doesn't have any importance which you put vertical and which horizontal, really) split from other topic from CLT manual:
