autocad can do 3D very well I used 2005 for that, which goes 20x better than previous versions for 3D.. and now, the 2007 version has a completly different 3D interface, and it looks alot like solidworks but... nah for simple shapes like these (rectangles, circles), it was pretty easy with autocad

Nope... Sounds cool, might take a look (though making parts by self is cooler ) EDIT: is that thing even supposed to work on XP? It just crashes when I start LEdit ... it's a sucky DOS interface anyway... I'll stick with solidworks and Blocks, I think I remember seeing the file properties saying something like it was opened for a total of 60 or hours... But on my old computer I was just leaving it open cause it was taking 15 minutes to open :S ... had a P3 550MHz with a gfx card like 32MB probably , it was a real pain... as soon as I set it at something else than wireframe, it would take another 10 minutes to render

the guided thing has an 'effective angle' of 45 degrees or something like that... when you see it coming towards you, for example, down-left, it will only be able to turn between full-left and full-down so you have to get out its angle range... to do this you must often run towards it... example.. if it's going down-left on you, going straight up will allow you to escape it if you can reach its vertical position before it's over you, because it will then only be able to turn full-left, and will not be able to climb up

This is something I made a while ago in AutoCAD each piece is a separate solid, and they all fit in each other just re-rendered them with autocad 2007... which allowed me to put some transparency I plan to maybe remake it with SolidWorks... !@#$%^&*embling something is much more easier in SolidWorks.. and I'll be able to move parts easily SolidWorks rendering sucks though... didn't find a way to do it yet

mine if anyone knows how to skin that windows media player toolbar so it's horizontal... tell me... !@#$%^&*, that thing is so !@#$%^&*ed up, even the 2 small buttons for 'restore' and 'show visualisation panel' have their icons swapped compared to when it's in a standard horizontal taskbar

doesnt seem to happen much on other sites... dont feel like installing another browser I wouldn't be surprised it being ISP related though... I have 10-30% C2S ploss in EVERY zone I connect to... and I download level files slower than a 14.4k user... so my ISP (which would be my school) screws up alot of connection stuff... though port should be free hmm and clearing the cache didnt help much... did it a few times already (it's not always the same pics that are X'ed anyway... so even if the image is supposetly (sp???????) cached, it can't load it? sounds more like a ie problem... tho I have it set 'check for new version of the page: at each visit' (exact translation may differ))
