You may want to consider updating the zone reviews section with the zones that are already on there. Some zone don't exist, and a lot of them have had name changes (SSCW Devastation = SSCB Devastation now for instance)

What he said. Credits are to stay ... and will become a privilage to use once the bot is fixed and/or we move to ASSS ... whatever comes first. As scores and credit totals rise, so will the costs of buying items such that they can not be seriously abused.

I think it would be fun ... we dont let flaggers use it ... once you change a ship its gone ... we could even set it up such that if you ARE in the bubble, firing your own weapons decreases the energy of the bubble (but not nearly as much as getting hit by weapons)

I've requested to join ... I wont know until mid-september though. But the person that I talked to basically said the zone has to be voted in .. and we wont be cause we are small ... so MAKE THE ZONE BIGGER!

Well give it a few days, i'm sure they have alot of people requesting that kind of stuff.

P.S. The zone chat ?chat=devastation is for the zone chat devastation. THe people who are on the chat are devastation players who enjoyed the zone and like to know when theres a large population playing a flag game. us asking them to come to deva is not spamming ... We just ask "Hey guys, come to Deva, we are having a great flag game here" or something like of the sorts ... theres nothing wrong with that ... these people on the chat LIKE the zone, and WANT to keep in touch with us. Never has anybody complained from the zone that we spam that particular chat. Theres nothing wrong with asking once ... or twice ... but a thousand times in a matter of minutes ... thats excessive spyed.

I've come across similar problems with Windows XP like that. It is typically what LC mentions above ... I would suggest a format, especially if you can't determine where the error is coming from ... a format will probably take less time than searching for the program/drivers/spyware that caused the problem initially.

I had a similar problem when accessing a java chat program over IE 7 beta 3 ... I went tabbed in-out of continuum and I was left with a black screen ... I eventually fixed the issue by tabbing back into continuum (I was lucky I did not have too many programs open at the time, since I could not see what I was doing) and then exited continuum properly. This seemed to solve the problem.

Hey I thought of a new buyable item that we may be able to create ... especially for the ASSS development !buy square This creates a square of bricks around your ship for a period of a brick. Ofcourse it would be easy to get repped out of it .. but I think that might be fun in the center ... turn on the brick, make repels matrix mode ... something like that. or This creates a square of bricks around the nearest oppenent ship ... that would be funny ... do that turn on antiwarp so they can't warp ... haha. Another buyable item !buy bubble This creates a bubble around your ship ... while the bubble is activated you can not recieve ANY damage from anything .. however ... as you are attacked, the bubble will eventually burst. We would make is resilient enough that it could protect you from several bomb attacks (like give it 3x more energy than a typical ship). We could even add a graphic that tells you the % left of the bubble. I dunno how possible this is ... but just another idea ..

Did you try to uninstall continuum, delete all of the files in your continuum folder, then reinstall continuum 0.38 (and do not install 0.39pr1) in a different location? Also, when you say you updated continuum to 0.39pr1, you should still be able to run 0.38 since 0.39pr1 just comes with an .exe and .dll file ... do both not work or just the one of them?

Oh and prevent him from leaving the center zone, keep his energy constantly depleted, and make it such that he can only turn right. That'll teach him.

Integrate everything that is currently at deva.sszones.com So, like a side bar to have a mini-version of the action map, and if they click on it it gives them a full-version of it. The current jackpot and current player count listed on the side would be nice ... with the option to click on the current players to view who is actually in the zone. Scores section to implement that score system at the bottom Also should include top credits (most rich players) Events section to display the kind of events, arenas we have in the zones, as well as displaying the current event standings League section Link to forums Population graphs, there is a way to actually transfer SSCB Devastation's graphs such that they are actually displayed on our website .. that would be nice Ships section - an area discribing the ships of devastation Screenshots section - allow players to submit screenshots and a caption for the screenshot ... maybe post a "screenshot of the day" screen on the main page News system on main page such that we can have certain people submit news to the website New to Devastation section - tells a little about the zone, and how to play and such Staff section - displays current staff, what they do Buyables section - displays information about what you can buy, and what each buy item actually does.
