This version of the map actually used to fit close up to 8 bases However, yes, I definately think we need a smaller map with less "free space" I think for now 4 bases is enough.

A better error would be nice too ... one that says "we dont like this combination of words" and actually TELLS me what it doesn't like ... make life a lot easier.

The megajackpot plugin is an event that we have in main. The jackpot increases at its typical rate, however, if x amount of players are currently playing (and not speccing) then if the jackpot is won, players who win are awarded the jackpot times a multiple of y I believe its like 6 total players = 2x 8 total players = 4x 10 total players = 6x 12 total players = 8x 14+ total players = 10x The credits earned are based on the new jackpot amount. I'm not sure whether that is it EXACTLY, but you get the idea I hope. Hopefully the source code can help you out on that one, or maybe an SOS explanation ... heck, if you dig deep enough into the posts in the development forum, there is probably a few posts on the megajackpot and what the final stats were ...

Hey guys, I am looking for ways to improve the zone, and things to keep the same. To make this topic fair, please post what you think is the best part of devastation, and what is the worst part (the part you want changed) and how you want to see it improved. Please comment on other peoples thoughts, especially suggestions. Best - The Zone Community (the best players in subspace i say) Worst - Map ... It is a little too big and spacious, so possible a similar, smaller design would work out very well. A new tileset maybe (sometime either similar, but just new tiles, or brand-spanking new and delicious!)

Uhhhh, yeah, by the way, those 1 billion credits will be eliminated when the bot gets moved back to me ... and then again back to our new bot host later this week. But, since everyone has been missing on the credits ... I will be awarding everyone with around 100 million credits once this mess is sorted out

Which is too bad, because he was awesome at what he did. We'll never be able to replace him, but I'm sure all of us will pitch in with whatever we can do to continue improving the zone!

If trained is making a website, that is excellent. I've had no discussions with trained yet, so I am not sure. ANybody is welcome to make a design attempt ... or create content FOR the website. If it turns out that nobody can design a website, I can do it ... thats something i'm good at. Well, I would still like graphics ... i'm not great at that part. -xdoom

I will be implementing a 2-team game only, but freqs won't lock unless music is going, as how it is set now.

Well, hopefully we can get the zone to ASSS eventually ... I first need to sort out all of this stuff, then figure out how to use ASSS cause yeah ... I dont even know how to code plugins for the bot right now. Doesn;t help that its in C# and i've never worked with C# before.
