Dear, Scarf dot en el The reason I don't play anymore is that outside of customizing my ship, the zone simply isn't fun anymore. Flagging, as any veteran knows, used to be more or less all I did in this zone. I would still flag and play, but to my dismay, it has devolved into spamming repels and bricks. I hate to say it, but the only thing I think is fun is just screwing around, killing in the center. Also, I'm a lot busier now than I used to be in high school. Not to say that I have zero free time, but why spend 20 or so minutes of your life alternating between pressing the F7 and F4 keys when you can hang out or even just play some other game? I suppose I blame part of it on the new population as a whole. There are lots of cool new players in HS now, but the community is so fragmented. People can hardly do or say anything in-game without at least one other person complaining about it (and I'm not just referring to moderator actions). For example, the other day, there was a 2 hour !@#$%^&*-fest by a few players targetted at the moderators who were online and the players who backed them (both of which have no direct influence or control in the development of the zone), blaming the problems of the zone on those moderators and players. There's absolutely no "together" feeling anymore. Also, gameplay-wise, it's the lack of development going on in response to the new population (!@#$%^&* it Brain and D1, who said you could have a life?! ). Actually, I myself am guilty of this. While there is still a lot of work going on, it may not be enough. It hurts me to see all the flaws and imbalances in the gameplay, so I feel very compelled to make lots of changes. While I've tried to fix as much as I can, changes haven't always created the desired outcomes. Regardless, there's a big limit on what changes I can even make, and many flaws still exist. In this respect, I really want to thank people like Fat Cat, Doom-Squirrel, Evo3.14, and others who point out the flaws of gameplay. Not playing very much, sometimes the only way that I and some other devs are even aware of problems is through the forum. To sum up, I don't really know what the problem is, perhaps just relative indifference to the things going on in the zone relative to everything else going on in all of our lives. Sincerely, Bo Mook
