Yeah, otherwise it probably would have been done already. And rearranging the property name to always show good as positive isn't really practical either.

Hyperspace uses the same banning system as every other SSC zone. ASSS has nothing to do with it. It just happens there weren't many recent bans, and it was pretty obvious which one was giving bad digestion problems.

Not much of an update, but it's more than anything else that's happened lately. So, here it is: Restriction on joining teams with all the flags has been removed. This will remove the problem with people were having entering the flag game from spec. All flagging players will be specced after two consecutive wins by the same freq. Not quite shuffling, but as close as we can get without a lot more coding.

It's theoretically possible to get ?attach (without a PM) to throw you onto any old lanc. I'll have to think about it.

I think you really hit the nail on the head here. Let me emphasize that SSForum is *great*. The question becomes what more will sscentral/ssgn provide beyond what ssforum already does?

I already said "Cycling flag games so fast that there's no competition is worse than never ending games." Trying the same thing while expecting different results is the definition of insanity. There's no reason to think it would work now.

The shuffling thing would occasionally crash the zone. I opted to remove it until the problem could be fixed. The lancs thing was removed due to a pymod conflict stemming from different versions of hscore_items.h between compiling environments. D1st0rt hasn't had a chance to fix it. He's probably forgotten it was a problem.

100 seconds is not hours. Cycling flag games so fast that there's no competition is worse than never ending games.

I don't understand why you need to look up info on a player. That's the job of the zone staff, not the zone host. I know you mean well, but you have to realize that no serious zone will let the host have powers. If you make it a requirement, then you'll insure that you don't get any serious zones.

"It helps"... how? There is no legitimate use for local powers for a host, unless you're doubling as staff (and then you better as hell have the zone's permission)

It's unusual to require hosts to be staff members. It's true that Death+ had that requirement, but he's not exactly a good role model.

The rules of grammar says he wasn't referring to cheese, since he talked about him in the third person in the earlier sentences. I assumed he was talking to me for the rest, since cheese and I were the only recent respondents.

That's right. My mission in life is to make you guys miserable. Seriously, bountying in basing was removed because it was detracting from the flag game. It would cause games to last for hours, which is not what I'm looking for. I want quickly cycling games.

I think (again, I'm not representing the council) no matter how you look at it, Bargeld owns the zone name Alpha. If someone wanted to start a new SVS zone with a *different* name then that's a different matter entirely. Using the map enters into a grey area, but the name "Alpha" is a clear cut violation.
