Maybe. Post it here and I'll check it out. Also, uninstall/disable that anti-spyware program that you've had for years. That could be causing the issue.

Temporary solutions are not solutions in my eyes. But yes, trying a second user is a good thing. Since the annoying software might only be on one user. But first of all, uninstall or disable the programs listed in the FAQ topic. As I understood, this has not been fully done yet.

Try uninstalling/disabling any anti-virus programs and other protection software you may have. Not just "that one new program". If this does not help, do a start->run->msinfo32 and save it and post the saved file here. Maybe I'll be able to see what programs might be interfering from that log.

Yes, sound is often buggy. Try a different sound quality in the options. Also try newer sound card drivers. Maybe try older ones, as well.

You cannot play with the original graphics if the zone changed them. Complain to the zone owner.

Try a different screen resolution. Also try a different refresh rate (you can change this only in the profile dialog). Also try a different color depth (it is in the options somewhere: 8/16/32 are the options). You can also try playing in windowed mode.

In general, these can be caused indeed by old drivers and weird software. Try it without anything else running. The drivers to update are 1) video card drivers; 2) sound card drivers; 3) motherboard drivers. All the rest are not really important. You can usually find these on the manufacturer's homepage. Feel free to post that inernat.exe - I'll take a look and see whether it's something bad. Actually, post your system info, as well. Do start->run->msinfo32 and then use the file->save option and attach the file here. There is a list of running programs in there, as well - maybe I can spot something suspicious. I need some clarification on this: How do you notice it? What kind of lag?

Sorry, I had two protocols mixed. The server-directory comm is much simpler. The server just sends stuff to the directory. Nothing more. If I remember correctly, the directory server never sends anything back, so there is no way to exploit this.
