  2. Yes, you are right. I must think about this some more. I agree. And I disagree. Yes, they definitely are a part of arena development but they have nothing to do with level development. Settings and bots are also arena development but I don't think they have any place in DCME and neither do the things you mentioned. I would hate to see DCME bloated into some do-it-all Swiss army knife tool. It should be level editing only.

  4. I am attaching a draft of my analysis for LVZ management in DCME. In summary, I think the current functionality is a step in the right direction but it does not have a centric goal - it seems very haphazard and is not geared towards what I would call the complete devel design experience. This draft contains the initial analysis of LVZ object functionality. It does not contain anything about the implmentation. Comments are welcome. I hope you developers agree with me on this - I think if this were to be implemented, DCME could rise to a whole new level of kick!@#$%^&*.   8. What kind of wizard do you mean? In the functionality aspect - what would it do (I don't quite see what you mean by "adding lvz's")? Also, lvz walltiles, combo tiles (lvz + tiles placed on top of it), combo walltiles - this would be killer. I'll explain more tomorrow, maybe write up some detailed description. Tired and going to sleep now soon.

  10. It'd kick !@#$%^&*, if only we had a real developer behind the game, not some shadowy guy like Priit... But above all, this game needs commercial support. When someone comes up with a way to make money from this, we'll get progress. However... that is not likely to happen...

Seriously, though, that's where I play, so it's the only place I'd see them Do know that if someone really hates you, they could dig up the fact that Continuum is in fact an illegal remake of the game, using copyrighted graphics from another company (although it is abandonware - freeware in practice - we do not expect any trouble from the copyright owner).

  18. Yeah. Also, critical feature request: lvz image categorization! If I have hundreds of LVZ images, there is no way I am going to scroll through them all to insert them into the map. There should be categories - every category fills the list with its images. For example I could assign the categories "walls", "ground", "extras" for various lvz images. It should be a combobox at the lvz selection, probably. And possibly some treeview structure (with drag&drop) for !@#$%^&*igning categories (in the lvz manager, like usual, possibly).

  20. Feature request: make images of all added files (I'm not going to add 200 images manually...)
  21. "Add item" does not remember last directory properly. It takes me 1 level up if I select multiple files, it seems. If I open 1 file, it seems to remember fine. "Add item" does absolutely nothing with a large number of files (I'm trying to add 200 files but anything over 10 cause it to crap out - seems to be realted to filename-length - if I select long named files, I can load less).
