  1. Well, I guess the EG sysops are totally incompetent or something. EG and a few others have been off the lists for a while now... I don't know WTF they are thinking... I'll attach my zone list, it has EG and perhaps some others that aren't in the servers as well.

  3. This happens only sometimes? Try shutting down all other programs. It could also be some spyware. If nothing works, give us your system info. To do this, do start->run->msinfo32 and then choose file->save and post the file it creates here.

    Hrm. The "warp you and 2 nearest players" could be used to byp!@#$%^&* anti. I'll make it not work if you are carrying flags.

    How about this as well: For the first week or so (November?), bot gives out some credits to playing players every 15 minutes. Say 10 million credits.

    They're not *that* common in greens. Actually, half the greens seem to be full charges anyway...

    Yeah, all in the same bot, of course Why? The closest ship. The player has to get close to the ship from which to remove anti-warp. Adds some difficulty in using it, makes it a bit less powerful About super... hrm... yes, why not. How about 20 seconds max, 30m cost? Also, I'm thinking that any "per-team" restrictions should also apply per player (in case he switches team). Yes. Perhaps increase the time intervals as well? 5 minutes where we have 1 right now? Then again, slow credit use makes the defenders vulnerable for a longer time with these weapons... hmm...

    I see no problem with reps. Those 3 reps go fast with bullets flying and such. One rep rarely does much at all.
  16. Yes and no. In a way, they are banned. But as far as real life is concerned, they absolutely are not We can still have them on SSC, exactly as they are, although some internal fiddling will be required.

  19. Any need for some graphical notification when the JP increases? If yes, then what kind of notification would you like? I remind you that we already have a textual and audible notification in the form of the JP message I don't really see a need for something like this, but let me know what you think.
  20. Okey, the credit bot is up for a test run. Doesn't really do anything yet Right now, it gives the JP and flag rewards to you in credits and you can buy scorereset (which also resets credits). Graphical credit counter will come within a week. Time to cook up some items for it. First, maybe a general price guide is needed? Expensive: 100m+ Normal: 30m-100m Cheap: <30m Here are my item ideas, slightly modified from vol 1 of this thread: Brick Cost: 80m Restrictions: once per three minutes per team (=bricks will have to be bought in advance to use several times) 10-second engine shutdown to closest enemy player Cost: 50m Restrictions: once per minute per team; max distance is 0.7 screen widths (700 pixels) Warp a random enemy player to you Cost: 60m Restrictions: can only be used if at least 5 people are playing; target player is warned and warped after 5 seconds; once per minute per team Remove anti-warp from closest enemy player Cost: 45m Restrictions: max distance is 0.7 screen widths (700 pixels); once per minute per team Warp 2 random nearby players (including your own team players) and yourself Cost: 50m Restrictions: max distance is 0.7 screen widths (700 pixels); once per minute per team Energy depletion to 2 random nearby players (including you own team players) and yourself Cost: 50m Restrictions: once per minute per team Rockets Cost: 18m Restrictions: once per 5 minutes per player Flag coordinates to your team Cost: 5m Restrictions: none Comment & add

  23. Try updating DirectX and your video card drivers. Also try turning on software emulation in the advanced options.
