  1. Good idea.
  2. Downloaded this game. Clicked the install file and it installs super fast (too fast). But it's lying, it doesn't install. So I said w/e and never looked for a solution.
  3. Found a pretty neat script. With some adjustments the user could actually fly a ship around. http://www.freeactionscript.com/2009/07/endless-parallax-scrolling/
  4. Yea I like the idea of the 'main' ship exploding
  5. Cool, any 'action' suggestions? I'll make 1 swf for each size.
  6. Says the person who voted everything.
  7. @ tcsoccerman, Hakaku, jabjabjab wtf? Lol.. If everyone who's voted so far actually pays what they claim they would, we already have the budget covered.
  8. probably as real as Auto: ?godmode but no.. they're not. I'm lame enough to try them
  9. I wouldn't mind an ad on ssforum if proceeds were to benefit SS advertising. Wouldn't mind at all.
  10. 1 shows me warbird just fine, good job 2 shows me just the nose of the Javelin. if it's even a javelin. 3 shows me the Warbird again. 4 shows me the Warbird again. 5 shows me just the nose of the Terrier. if it's even a Terrier 6 shows me nothing 7 shows me nothing 8 shows me the Warbird again all in all, cool Warbird :/ Edit: I know LYNX because he's loaded with intelligent information..
  11. Pro: you could use 3D models for ships. I'm not sure though, if a 3D environment would allow .bmp graphics for everything.
  12. agreed lynx. i wish there were a way to change it while playing. ?zoom 1-10 (or let it recognize your mouse wheel)
  13. i haven't had much practice on superlarge resolution, but i tell you this: it's harder you might just have to get used to it, but it's a challenge at first. my problem is how far i have to move my eyes back and forth from my ship to the radar
  14. we play at a higher resolution than that (can't remember exactly) at my brothers house. 55" LCD
  15. that would be cool we could actually use different maps as well, just ?recyclearena and have people play a few different versions of subspace settings/map for the length of the event and then chop it up in a video editor. is there a way to export ?gamerecord..? i imagine that would be the best quality. although it seems to me like it just records/repeats game actions, and never actually records a video
  16. I imagine this will take place within Trench Wars.
  17. Best I can do. Click, it gets much better. shield.psd
  18. I honestly don't remember what attracted me because at first I thought subspace was retarded. I grew up watching my brother play it since Sniper. I actually remember when he begged my mom to buy the VIE CD when it went pay to play. But yea the first time I played on his computer I was like "this game sucks" and closed it. I don't remember why or how (probably boredom), but I got hooked about a year later.
  19. add a 'fill lvz object with tile' option, please, please, ..please
  20. This is actually a meaningless public opinion Poll. The availability of the source code should be decided by those designing the security in tight cooperation with those designing the game, server, biller, ect. @ Polix: maybe you can deliver a series of informing news posts
  21. I started playing when I was like 11. I didn't do anything technical on the computer at that time. I think tile sets were the first graphics I ever made. I definitely got into making graphics because of this game and now I make money that way. So yea. Subspace made a developer out of me. Go Subspace.
  22. I'm just going to launch a zone for the public and see what happens. Probably nothing, except a few people actually developing. You guys should keep at those plans though.
  23. You're right. I never looked at it that simple.. We still encounter a problem when it comes to users having the same powers in all arenas (not based on their username) and could mess with other peoples stuff, and this is asss and unlike subgame they can mess arenas up by not knowing what they're doing.. For now I will allow these powers to everyone considering ssca ssdev is basically deserted. But I guess what is needed in the long-term is a module that creates an arena for every user upon seeing them
