  1. my vista machine is getting an error. can't run bin/FFBattleGenerator application
  2. As in, we can state our opinion that we disagree just as much that "guitar hero hater" can. Therefore if one was censored, both would have to be Oh, and niether of us live in china
  3. yes but we don't live in china do we. and that goes both ways.
  4. chambah's, i agree with you. how could somebody hate guitar hero, and back their opinion with southpark??? guitar hero is good for rock n' roll, it's showing itself to the world how great it is.
  5. Yes, but hopefully more powerful
  6. now that i got a new laptop that's nice and quick it's not so much a hassle to work on stf. what do we need work on?
  7. if you need someone in the server area, i may be of help.
  8. college is better then nfl especially when your team goes 0-15 soon to be 0-16.
  9. I didn't read the link, but on topic with the post title, i'm starting to not like Firefox. Firefox, when it started, was meant to be a simple, leightweight browser. That was the reason i switched to it from internet explorer in the first place, with my slow computer (intel celeron) and little ram (256mb). Now it seems that firefox is the bulkiest, ram gargling browser out there. Now i use chrome. Why do i need different themes? Why do i need a text box for adresses, and one for searches (google chrome combines them). I have yet to try opera and safari, will probably happen when i get bored with chrome and or decide to test my sites on them (there still being built).
  10. That's good insight. I know what you mean. another one of my petpeeve's can be found here
  11. yeh it isn't worth the hassle. i'll start on the project once break starts.
  12. i know i'm getting a laptop and an itouch. and some mocassins. don't know what to give yet....
  13. Anyways what did you mean by SSF delayed?
  14. I think that lots of zone owners would be willing to implement this. For ASSS it would be very light work on the owner's part. If you can make a module, and an easy to manage .conf i think that zone owner's would WANT to put it in. I'm not familiar with subgame, but if you do the same thing but with .cfg's it should work well (i'm guessing you'd be the one to host the bot which i don't see being more of a problem than a plus). Even though i'm busy with lots of random shananigans, i'd like to help you on the ASSS side. The best way to contact me is in IM, my aim account is tccontinuum, and msn is tcsoccerman@hotmail.com. I've got shared hostmonster hosting right now i'm paying for, if we can use that. I've got "unlimited" bandwith, which really isn't unlimited but for how much traffic i'm getting i'm guessing it's enough. We can setup a database and everything. Is anyone interested on the subgame side?
  15. I understand now. I think it's a great idea.
  16. Inorder to do what you're proposing, all zones would have to agree on a point ratio. For example, some zones give lots of points for one kill, and few points for another. And for kills, some zones have few kills per minute rather than some basing/rushing zones where a player can die every 5 seconds. In the high death zones, each kill is worth less, say 1/5 of a kill. ASSS has a module coded by smong that allows recording of these statistics. I'll try and find it...here it is. I'm not gonna lie i didn't read your whole post, let me know if i'm off track.
  17. since the core modules (capturing points, respawning, static turrets) are done, i'm trying to get creatix to put the zone online to play. However, he seems to be busy lately. Just a few questions.. 1.how many people are interested in this zone? 2.who were the people that wanted to help test. i'm not sure if any of these questions will matter, as it's up to creatix what we do, however at least it's some info.
  18. yeh but you can patent something in america and tell the temperature of London.
  19. 15 F. 2 feet of snow in 48 hours made me happy.
  20. It would be best if those animated .gif's were gone, they felt way outdated. Even the scrolling text was so choppy it gave me sore neck. However, if you clean it up and add life to it, it would seems to be an interesting website for gamers (i don't have a 360 so not so interested).
  21. I was using chrome when i went their. Yeh after i posted i saw either some text in the source or the footer had some link, which was joomla related. Did you ever consider drupal? It seems to me that a good comparision between the two would be joomla=subgame and drupal=ASSS. also, chrome doesn't let you send emails in windows live hotmail. the text box is disabled. big bummer..
  22. i like the transparent div's/groups. i wanted that on my website, but am not good w/ graphics so when i made it in gimp it saved in a non-transparent supporting format. what image format did you use? Also, at the top it reads " Here you will find things such as free games, handy programs, interesting guides, and ". missing the end. I looked at the source and all the text was there, so it must be getting cut off.
  23. backyard soccer. thank you darkr3born for reminding me
  24. good to hear. maybe i can work on it during xmas break too. i'll probably be skiing all break though...
  25. On track again with microsoft surface, i've started a website at www.surfacehq.com.
