  1. i've never been so exited for movies. angels and demons, harry potter, transformers are my top 3
  2. what game are you making?
  3. To make sure it is remembered, try adding it here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker2/?func=brow...mp;atid=1020571
  4. I'd go with drupal myself. Joomla seemed bloated just on initial install.
  5. Yeh, that'd be smart.
  6. There is a wiimote library out there that communicates with a wiimote through bluetooth connection. I'm going to try to integrate wiimote usage into stf. i'd be simple usage. d-pad for movement (basic method. i could further use the numchuck, and even further read when the user tilts the wiimote). a is guns, b is bombs, and then 1, 2, and the other buttons could be used in combinations. any suggestions and or comments? oh, url:http://blogs.msdn.com/coding4fun/archive/2...14/1879033.aspx
  7. ha, no problem.
  8. non of those modules i made, although i did edit halo_hill a little. why is my name in the post description?
  9. I would suggest setting up a local server to test your modules on to make sure everything works.

  11. yeh i've never seen a group of people try so hard to make a video like that.
  12. it's very convincing.
  13. looks stupid. why would apple invest in something like that? it'd take forever to type something, just like it did on my ipod scroll wheel when i wanted to search for music. why not have both? laptops already have touchpads, just replace that with a scroll wheel. or at least a touch screen keyboard. edit: also, 19 minute battery? i can't tell if that video is a joke or not, especially considering the scrolling text at the bottom at the beginning of the video saying "studies find horseback riding is just an expensive way of sitting". wtf?
  14. ?

  16. to learn some c/c++, i remember dev-c++ had a beginner's "tutorial" in the help file that i used to learn. It was nice that it was built in and specific for the compiler.
  17. you torrented it right? i'm worried about viruses, where did you get yours?

  19. yeh i was trying to compile w/ sharpdevelop :/ edit: i'm using c# visual studio 2008 express version and i get an error saying that some of the code is not supported by the debugger. i tried compiling in release mode and got this runtime error. SubspaceStack.dll is in engine/bin/debug and in engine/. "System.DllNotFoundException was unhandled Message: Unable to load DLL 'SubspaceStack.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
  20. what compiler are you using?
  21. ok. now i'm no artist, by object i mean c# class. i think you knew that but just making sure.
  22. nice. as for bong6 and copygoal: It wouldn't compile because it needed to copy those files frome engine/ to engine/bin/debug/ thanks for the update on root. i'll upload that to my branch (well, merge) and try and compile again with a working subspacestack.dll. I'll work on my weapon, slot, ability, ship, and shiptype objects for now. Let me know if i'm in the right direction.
  23. also, i'm looking for copygoal.tga and bong6.wav. well i can get the bong6 but i need copygoal.tga inorder to compile.
  24. hey doc, when do you plan on integrating all the branches. i downloaded the tao framework and am now compiling, however i don't want to start implementing any of my progress from my branch into my branch's engine solution because i know you've done alot of work, which would erase my implementing when we update my branch. if you understand that mouthful, that'd be great. if you didn't...an updated trunk would be nice . thanks. also, would you say we've got an alpha working?
  25. Nice work.
