But i like to keep in mind that it's you're choise to do it. I agree that the people who posted before this with lot's of contributions should be higher than all of us, but we should have some say in things as well. I don't think this made much sense but i'll post it anyways

anyone working on my ...."items"? ty if so
-
I could use some help too on two simple things. 1. better graphics for my larger lancaster in my zone.(it's get smudgey when you make the box bigger in paint(that's all i have(no photoshop))). i just want better graphic's, not resizing. if you want you can also attempt at a custom ship graphic that is around the size i've attached that is for turreting. 2.a big sign that says "CTF Fury"(good name?) for when they enter the zone. i know the lvz and ini part, you just make it. It's probably good to know that when they enter they will mainly see the safe which is a dark green so try not to make it so the color's hurt you're eyes or something when they mix. if you need more info just contact me via pm("via pm" sounds more buisness like don't you think?). i'll attach the lance's current graphix. p.s. evn kewler would be to add roll!! ship7.bmp.zip

what program did you use to make dcme?

Do you mind telling if there's "inappropiate content", i certainly don't mind it but my parents do:) i didn't find anything btw. -
what program did you use to make dcme?
tcsoccerman replied to tcsoccerman's topic in Drake Continuum Map Editor
maybe you can accidently display the files in a zip for me -
Ok, so i put elvl in my map and it worked( )but now when i play that map on continuum, it doesn't have auto warp or anything. any ideas? Also, why can't you save elvl with defaulttileset? Also also, why did all my elvl disapear(this isn't related to the first problem, i redid elvl) and then get by rTil or something? ty
-
I was wondering if you could tell me about the program you used to make dcme? if it's free maybe a url, it would be interesting to play around and maybe make my own.
-
Ok, i was forum looking and wasn't satisfied so i'll post my own. When i open a map that i recently edited the tileset it says that it is corrupt and some of the tilesets won't be loaded, even thought i will open. now when i opened a un!@#$%^&*led map, the bricks are black, although this isn't the biggest deal. i spent quite a lot of time making the corners have corner tiles instead of the bad meeting with out corner tiles and added half a base. maybe you could debug it like you did before with my elvl problem. i'll attach the picture and map and map tileset data. oh yeh, i tryed to edit in paint to make it to normal settings but nothing happened. i tried 256 bit map colors. i tried lots of stuff. it's a 24 bit map, which is maybe the problem. i don't know why it won't let me make it another bit, it says access denied. anyway, here are the files. i just want to be able to open the file and have default tileset. and know how to edit a tileset without this problem. i guess this isthe problem with non-official i guess you could call it programs, although it is a great program made by a volunteer so i'm not complaining at all. i also added a halo 2.bak file for java, i try to open it with dcme but when i do it just opens dcme like i tryed to run the application and opens with the default-new untlitled lvl. ty again.halo_2_tileset_problem.zip
-
I'll just keep the .zip this time and will tell you of any problems, btw how do you edit your regions??
-
Hey sampico, could you give me those recovered tiles .lvl againl, i got the same error again and can't use the ones you gave me. maybe try to fix the file and then give back? ty. i didn't add anything to it yet so just get the file from above
-
Somoene in halo already did this somehwo, but you could put all fly under tiles over solid tiles so you are steering youre ship without seeing it in a maze. KInda cool? could be a arena.
-
I think i may know. When i went into tile edit to just play around with that i couldn't figure it out and pressed all the buttons and partially edited the tile, this may be a reason. I also turned off the line preview..?i doubt it's that. maybe a few ideas. not gonna be back till sunday. good luck with figuring it out.
-
ok got to go, maybe give me credit??ty
-
WWWWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWW.. That was everything )) You recoverd every tile i made..except i didn't look at the regions yet, to happy. that doesn't matter though, it's easy. YOu're definitely taking some credit for this zone, you'll be in my notes and stuff. ty so much. can you teach me to prevent this later on plz. ty, i g2 start getting ready for bed and will stay up as late as allowed waiting for response ty.

sadly, i don't know the name of hte region and i searched ritl...stuff and it came up with nothing. then i searched public.wtl and it came up with nothing. there were about 5 regions though...each for a seperate autowarp to a different area.
-
2 quick notes: 1. i will not be back on for a while, maybe sunday cause i'm outa town. 2.I did have a SAFEZONE.lvl (wierd name i know..) that is about half of the progress of public.lvl that opens in DCME and !@#$%^&*. This may help and lets you know i sorda have a back up
-
Ok, i did make the regions using !@#$%^&*, but it worked seemingly well with DCME. These attributes were autowarps and no antiwarp in some area. I don't know what you mean by defined. Here is the file with everything to do with public.lvl that i could find. what would a region file look like (as in .txt, .bak, .lvl, etc.) i will try to givethat eLvl file to you if i can find it. i hope you find this mistake and don't have that problem again and fix it. that would be great.public.lvl_files_and_info.zip
