  1. was anything accomplished here by the original author of this thread? there are lots of zones needing graphics help - HS for instance; Beefie's and TJ's new PB zone, the list is never short...
  2. I think I saw elvis
  3. I often question what the HS staff does. I mean, I see them banning people for swaring, or using that nick*nack buster controlism that Brain tries - but I dont think any of them are actually able to design anything? You guys need some design people.
  4. Guess you're in the wrong zone, there ain't no nice people in here True. Case and point below.
  5. wow, strong words. next. anyone have an answer that actually makes sense?
  6. Nice work Polix.
  7. Actually I thought the biggest problem with Red Planet was that the graphics were overdesigned. It's become somewhat apparent that the ss community is still in favor of good gameplay over graphics. MG does a very good job with both gameplay and graphics fitting for Subspace/Continuum. A+ MG. I'm not in favor of a consolidated website which controls everything as sooner or later it could become very biased toward one or two zones. I don't play Pro or Hockey so their news is irrelevant to me, I'm glad to hear that Hyperspace is up and couldn't care less about Halo or Red Star. A website fitting the players interest is what is needed - not a blanket. On that same note, Good Job to Polix and other web authors who have done what they've done for the community.
  8. So -- has anyone actually created a hyperspace website? url?
  9. oh ok - i'm confused by the topic !@#$%^&*le and why ?go paintball? shouldn't it be ?go powerball?
  10. are you guys talking about paintball? or powerball?
  11. GJ dr brainchild.
  12. except for those goofy ships, i liked the way that buying worked. a lot of zones grew in their own way from ideas that brain implemented in HS
  13. I agree with Vile that we have had an 'over influence' of conservative values over the past several years since Bush took office. It was needed however to offset the leftist ghosts that impeached Clinton left in 2000. I too am getting sick of elder law-makers putting legislation together such as "removing funding from universities which have cheerleaders that show too much skin". That is really happening - check out the latest news about that anywhere. That guy needs a real job. The pendulum will swing back soon enough to balance things out.
  14. lol Monte, since you have never served in any miliary, US or otherwise, I'll excuse your stereotypical at!@#$%^&*ude as nothing but ignorance. The real funny thing is this: why would you discredit a quote from the Bible when infact you have written on your avatar something about 'God's Country'. I'll assume that you are Muslim. But if that were true you should have said almedina alallah. Going to keep trying? You'll need to come out of the kiddie pool, lefty.
  15. lol, Monte, no one plays by any rules in engagement. I'll tell em to try. rofl come to reality with us my friend. The only reality of war is this: he who lives by the sword, dies by it. btw, are neutron bombs still in existance?
  16. Someone just faxed me a copy today. Hooray!
  17. Do I like Bush? I agree with the republican way more than the democratic way, however, I don't see Bush as a great leader. I just don't . Reagan was a great leader because he seemed to have more conviction than many other leaders (naturally this helped him put an end to the cold war). But I don't see Bush as someone who really understands what our military is all about. Having been in the military, I can !@#$%^&*ure you that there are a lot of gun toting kids there ready to kill anything that moves. They like to fight, and most likely they will fight any war that our president puts them in. However, the power of our military in both might and technicality seems like it is going over the top. I feel like we are the once Red crimson Russian who was trying to Napoleonize (sp?) their way in the world. I don't want that. I want a leader who knows that our military will annihilate any enemy, but not one who puts us in a war to mediate two sides. There is simply no reason for it. I'm referring to China and Taiwan here fellas. I'm afraid that if we try to save Taiwan, Bush will have effectively destroyed everything he is trying to build....the economy, relations, the world. So yes, I'm a bit pissed at our latest 'state of the union'. Perhaps it is time for getting younger more long term and future thinking adults in to the government. It is really about generation here. So - would I side with Kerry. Ha...no. I'm not into Stalin. I still believe that hard work deserves reward and nothing should come for free.
  18. This post was previously nothing but a personal insult. -Aileron
  19. Actually you got a free p!@#$%^&* on this one for four reasons: a. I am passIONATELY concerned about our environment even down to the local level. I have been !@#$%^&*isting with local agencies just hunting illegal dumpers. Nasty crew that is. b. I spoke to Dr Brain about his views on the environment and determined that he is better off speaking about anything non-environmentalist. ....in other words I disagree with his 'leave it till tomorrow when we will build new and perfect fixes to today's problems' thinking. c. Both AUS and US didn't sign Kyoto but don't have an alternative to fix global level environmental issues. Economics are nothing when your world is buried in trash. d. You changed your member !@#$%^&*le. thanks!
  20. rofl! look at that member !@#$%^&*le! nice. (I have avatars and sigs disabled so who knows what those say)
  21. Imagine if we clone you Dav! lol, then we get double keyboard mania! lolol....just hope the new you gets a larger hypothalumus. jk
  22. Yes dav thanks for your infinite wisdom. As you have proved, evolution is extremely slow....look how long everyone has been trying to get you to hit the right keys on that keyboard of yours. Monte, you went and pissed off Dr Brain again. lol what now....I'll have to read up soon.
  23. I think folks in Brussels just tried that.....and that guy from Virginia. Then again, if you want to live in a dark hiding place for life, go for it. I'm sure someone will get your number eventually. And yes, leave religion out since so many can barely agree on politics.
  24. Because the glaciers are below AND above sea level. Put the whole glacier in the water like your 'ice-cube' and see what happens. Next topic for those who wish to assume that we need no prevention of pollution nor worries....landfills.
  25. Hmm, I would have to say that the folks here who decided that we (the USA) doesn't have to work toward the Kyoto Treaty need to have their brains blown out and flattened. I don't really care as much about what other countries think as I do about what the long term consequences are of not trying to restrict pollution. Global Warming Energy Consumption Land, Water, and Air pollution All are directly related to 20th century industrialism For this time, I am against USA policy. That is simply a mistake that doesn't just affect other nations, it affects mankind as we know it. I need to get more information about it.
