Bah that teaches no work ethics! I have a full tuition covered right now, but I work full time so that I don't have to live on campus. Instead I live in a 2 story, 3 bedroom, fully furnished house, with tablet... which mind you is much better than any dorm, even if you have a suite And workin helps make you feel like you've accomplished something, besides sitting on ss all day...erm cough...vile!...cough... /rant So yeah how bout them grapes?

Well honestly games are made to make money. And the way they make money is by not making the game for the hard core rpg fan who will go insane if they can't reach level 99. They make it for the general populous, so that everyone can buy, and try to enjoy these games. And each final fantasy, except for ffx-2 has its own unique battle system, and level system, and character development system. No two games stay alike. And even if you notice, the reason why FFXII is so big and was so big, really wasn't because of its story. I don't think they wooed millions of people into buying the game because when those people walked into the store they were like "Man that game looks like it has great story, lets buy it!" Most peeps were like "-*BAD WORD*-! look at what square did to the graphics for the playstation! Wow I need that -*BAD WORD*-!" lol bad example but very close to right. There is not a single game created that is not created for the sole purpose of making money. You just happen to have to find a company whos main audience fits the best with you. And if you're a hardcore gamer, specially rpg, you really have to settle.

Well this is good bye. As of today, 6/21, I am no longer a member of the sscu 17thparallel staff. Its been a great 3 years, but things in my personal life have made if very difficult to do my job properly here. I will miss staffing for you all! Ok first off, dkr, you really have no idea what you are talking about. I just spent a lot of time testing that lanc. In a duel, not a single ship beat me, with that lanc. I beat every jav without using bullets. That lanc is incredibly powerful, and you give it bounce, you're a god. Seriously DKR, you may be a self proclaimed lanc god, but -*BAD WORD*- I've been playing this zone for almost 5 years, and that lanc is on the verge of too powerful. [/rant]

For all the praise and glory the "old sysops" should be recieving, dire wolf came on the other day and played pub for a bit. The only people in the arena who either: a) remembered who he was knew who he was in the first place were ntfx, and tablet (with a few exceptions always). Elite One, and Dire Wolf had the same problems our current sysops are having now. People were bored of the settings, bored of the map. Every change THEY did, EO and DW was flamed just like every little change we do now. Its a viscious cycle, no one appreciated them while they were here, and now, 2 years later, everyone praises them for how well they ran the zone. Well -*BAD WORD*-, if you liked how well they ran the zone, they why did you, the players force them out? Now there were other factors involved in them leaving, but this was a main factor. Me and dire are very close irl, he actually introduced me to this game, and you have no idea what they went through, him and his brother. You're right, they won't come back. And they have no reason to, as same as before, it would be "yay dire and eo are back!!!", and in two months there would be flame on the forums about them.

As vile said, you make settings around a map. We've had this map for over 1 1/2 years, and -*BAD WORD*- its just plain old! Yes talking to me or vile is definately a great way to bargain for your services
