He would then make certain peeps do things to benefit him, then he would appoint those of his closer comerades to better positions, and boom you've got a tyranical monarchy....boom!

agreed. Killing ducks is one thing, but what's the diff if you bring it north or south, it still interupts the game. But I guess there are loopholes for everthing...

Here's one that should stir up plenty of smoke! Which type of governments do you all believe to be the best for the people? Now you're gonna get ur die-hard americans who will go "democracy all the way!", when we aren't even a straight democracy, we're a democratic republic. But in my opinion, and I do so happen to be American, I believe a republic is the best suited government to govern for the people as a whole. In a democracy you've got thousands all going after what they want for themselves, not everyone as a whole. Yet with your republic, you have but a few people who are designed to think of the majority, not one individual. Now as with any government a corrupt individual will ruin it all, but take a page out of the Roman Empire...

I have had no aliases at all, and was infact away due to personal issues for some months last year, but the point is you made a frivilous remark about something you assume to be correct. I've seen the -*BAD WORD*- zone grow from having 8 peeps on a good day, to what it is now. I ran around other zones trying to get peeps to the 17th. There were many a day where it was me and dire pubbin it out alone. Sorry if I take just a little offence.

Well if you want to speak technically akai, besides Mike, I've been on staff longer than anyone else. Now Jim was there before me and has been off and on staff, so theres an exception. And Vile was hired just after me I believe, it's hard to remember as it's been over 3 years now. So if I don't have the right to make comments about peeps complaining, what only mike and jim do?

You can't blame the whole staff for problems you experience with some. I'm currently looking for new tilesets for a duel map I am trying to create. I posted once about it in the old forum and didn't even get a reply back. So you can be self righteous about a lot of things, but noone ever sent me a tile set, and I asked publically for one. Then I posted in the dev team thread bout it, still got no response. The only thing that has ever been done from the dev team when I asked was Telson made me some new gfx for the 17th site, which I will get up once my ftp is working correctly. Plody came and is doing bot work, which is good. Rifle is back, and currently making a nice duel bot, so that you may all have a duel league on the weekends, with each match updated on the bot, and the site get's updated at the end of each night. I want the arena to look as good as this bot is going to be. So if you've got tiles -->NBVegita@17thparallel.com. Now lets see if I get any tiles out of this. Sigh this is just becoming another bash the 17th thread. I mean first you complained cause Zeke was in charge of pub. Now he's gone, and your champ Vile is there, and you still complain! Give us time people, the staff has gone through a lot in the past two weeks, and we need just a little time to get back on track. There are lots of ideas for how pub is to work out, and just tossin em up won't help anything. You'll just be back here complaining about those too. Give us time to discuss and agree on what should be done, minor changes, major, whatever!, instead of just doing one-person irrational changes for which you all seem so quick to criticize on. UNDERLYING STATEMENT: Be patient for Grapes sake!
