Well I'll admit that jwl was a sticky situation, but that is quite in the past. And I find it utterly amusing to hear that so many of our lower staffers think that their opinion can get you fired. I reitterate, talk to foof. Not only does he let his opinion be known, but when have any of you even known foof to be subtle? The only way he's come close to getting in trouble is because sometimes he gets a little vulgar when so courteously displaying his opinions publically. But foof is still here, and greased, if you haden't gone missing for that week and a half, you'd still be here too. ohh yeah and pssst net always gives his opinion no matter what it is, and he made it all the way up to upper staff, and he definately isn't subtle either.

Yeah see killa, you're staff, and you have many mis-illusions. Ask foof how much he says about the staff, in the staff chat for heavens sake. What you post on the forum won't compromise your position, by just posting your opinion. And to address another issue brought up in the other post, you say that there is a huge gap between upper, and lower staff. I've never ignored anyone who's tried to talked to me, or who has had an idea. What gap is present there? I might be away sometimes working on the site, or leagues, or maps. But if you mention a "bridge" between the upper and lower staff, explain.

I have just finished a long talk with Delic. You guys want to discuss problems you have will staff. This I will let you do. But only in a constructive manner. You may state what you think is wrong, in a polite manner. But if you state a problem, you must then also state a soulution to it. There will be some staff input on the threads to, this will allow the staff to get across what they want to. They are under the same restrictions, everything will be polite. If anything is non-constructive, or down right rude, it will be deleted. Also posts like "fire the whole staff and hire me" will be deleted also. Enjoy.

Dude, Maka, I used Nurples because it was a good, direct quote. Dire is one of my best friends, and so was EO. Dire quit the zone originally because everyone said he did nothing, and flamed him about any setting changes he made(If I'm not mistaken, it is early). Now everyone is saying what a good job both of them did, and why can't all staff be like them. You all complain that "upper staff" is awful, and doesn't listen to your ideas. Well for all of you who know so much, I'll enlighten you all just a little more. I am a smod. Rifle is a smod. Tablet is a smod. Lovewar is a smod. Dire is a smod. ntfx is a smod. Enterprise is a smod. If you complain to a smod about pub, a smod can't do anything for you except get that idea to telson, vile, pern, nurps, or mike. And when we get that idea to them, that doesn't mean it happens. Or happens immediately. No our upper, and lower staff are not perfect. But we all have jobs. I am league coordinator, if you have a league idea, or something to do with leagues, I handle that. I've never turned away an idea, and have yet to even say that an event cannot be tested yet either. So that makes me a nazi upper staffer? Because I don't flame vile about what "the players" want? I do what I can. Nothing more nothing less. This game takes a lot of time out of your life. And as an upper staffer, it takes twice as much time as it does a lower staffer. We all do what we believe is best for the zone and the players. Yes we will get all the javers flaming us everyonce and awhile. And then we'll get the pubbers flamming us once we cater directly to either one. So we do what's best overall. I hear all this talk of "vets" in the 17th. I've never once heard a pubber be called a vet. Zio did go with me on saying that he knew some pubber vets, but with all of you "vets" out there, how many would admit that there are pub vets? How many would admit that I'm a vet? I'm not saying staff is perfect, but we all try. No one sits up here and says "let's ignore everyone, and drive all the players from 17th!" Yes we do respect the vets opinions, but you are just so plain rude. I mean I never ever get thanked for hosting anything when a vet is playing. I was hosting some league matches, and every thing I did, I got a "Thank you" from, or every question ended with "Please". Just ask Joker if he gets a chance to be on this post. He was prolly one of the most disrespectful people, overall, on the forum to the staff in general, not everyone, but a good chunk of the staff. He had a nice, respectful talk with me. As of right now I'm on his chat, working with him over yahoo on a map idea of his, and putting a few of his ideas into motion. I want to be able to help everyone. But I am a busy man. If you show me respect, your ideas will be heard. Even if I don't say "great idea, I'll do that right away" they are heard. Not even show me respect directly, just be respectful. Yes I know this is just an online game, so who needs to be respectful? But if you want something heard, that is the way to go about doing it. And for those of you who have been respectful, and think your ideas are not heard, they are heard, and might be in use, as someone might have taken part of your idea, and part of their own, and merged it into one idea. I was a little upset when writing this so it's a bit jumpy, but it is prolly as to the point as I can make it atm.

Yes this is just another staff sucks topic, whether you have the same proof as anyone else who has started one before. I have nothing against you zio, but I'm locking this thread because I'm tired of hearing the staff get flamed. No, every idea you had was not the way to save the zone. Yes, you did have good ideas, and I think if I quote this right.... That's what I say to you now maka, I told you that once, and you simply replied, "You can do as much as you can in one day." I'm sorry if you feel that your ideas were ignored, but saying that you ideas are the way to save the zone will close many ears, and argueing every idea as if it were closes more ears. It's hard for staff to work with every idea given to us, because as you well know maka, we get a whole lot of em. We do our best, and welcome ideas, but everyone thinks they have the best ideas in the zone, not excluding staff. Sorry about that little rant, I'm sorry to see you go, and I'll cya around the zone.

Well you say "Staff" as a whole like every single member of staff, upper and lower got together and said hey lets lock crowleys post. But with all seriousness Crowley is mad, but he's just one in line. Not to say that it's ok that he's mad, but all people do is just come here to flame the staff. Everyone comes here to say that staff sucks, sets suck, map sucks, all that good stuff. You all forget that we don't get paid to do this job. We put up with all the har!@#$%^&*ment, host, and try to take care of those cheaters. I almost fell out of my chair saturday when I was hosting League. I got more "please" and "thank you" than I think I've seen in the past two years combined. Now I'm not defending Foof, nor am I defending Crowley. But I don't know how many times we've said to use modabuse@17thparallel.com, or just send it to nbvegita@17thparallel.com. If some of the staff is mis behaving you have to let us know. Because if they are misbehaving they start behaving once the upper staff gets on. Then we have to leave or go away, and then they would start up again. Now where in this are we supposed catch if someone's acting up? Just let us know if you have problems. And remember, just because you send something doesn't mean they will get fired/suspended on the spot. Have patience

I have read a lot of flame in this past day, and am tired of it. When this happened last time, I told you to come to me joker, which you called me a bad name, and refused. Well now I'm telling you to come to me personally about it now. I have not har!@#$%^&*ed you, and actually defended both you and shay on countless occasions, I'm locking this thread, and hopefully another will not appear in it's place. Send me an e-mail please joker, I really do wish to speak with you. Not all staff is as immature or as harsh as you all may think.

Well problem solved, I am starting to do schedueled hosting during the week with set host for the time period selected, I will post times and hosts within the week, it's up to you to show up.

Well we could try to set scheduel a speedball timeslot, but the problem is that I need a commitment from some ers/mods that they will be there during that time slot. I will try to host but I do so have to work most evenings so I'm only on early evening and late evenings. Overall I think it is a wonderful idea to help promote activities during the week. grapes

Hey there guys, time for veg's 2 cents again. The problem is you blame us for not controlling the staff, and preventing the abuse. Well there are two problems with the upper staff doing this "as a whole staff". First, I notice that once I get on, supposed to when I'm "away" (which btw I'm not, and I do keep logs) the at!@#$%^&*ude is different among many staff members. Second, you say they stopped doing it publically, and do it privately. Well how are we spose to prevent that? They har!@#$%^&* you privately, you ?ignore, that doesn't work, then you just leave. Where in that does it give us a hint that they're har!@#$%^&*ing you? modabuse@17thparallel.com Also, just because you send in a modabuse mail doesn't mean we're going to go off and suspend the staffer on the spot or fire him. Otherwise we'd have a lot of modabuse mails, and a very small staff. We try to take care of things, and if you can get us proof, logs/screenshots things can be done. But if you say "Blue silver is spamming me in pm!!!!" and he says "no I'm not newb, stfu!!!" ....erm well bad example, but you get the piont. Give us proof, and if it's in pm, just ?ignore. Also I do not recieve modabuse@17thparallel.com mails, so if you mail NBVegita@17thparallel.com I guarantee it will be taken care of, ask anyone who's sent a mail to me, I've gotten on it asap.

Good show zio, this is what I've been trying to do with the maps I've fiddled with, bring back what 17th was. A nice battle for position and flags is much more interesting then just plain soccer. good show

It's not finished yet, and I'm taking input from all sorts of players about it. ?go nbvpub play, tell me what you think. We actually got a pretty nice soccer game going there the other day. The one big thing I'm debating on changing on that map is the center. well give me input.

Erm well if I'm not mistaken, and I'm not, Epion, one of the "javver" squads not only won the msbl IT, but also won the overall league. :notworthy: Did someone say grapes? Cause they should have. Agreed. Just try to pick one with a bunch of guys you are close to and can stay with. Don't just join a squad to say you're on it, or because they're "good". I mean look at all these new squads poppin up with great players that last like a week cause they get bored and split up. Good people = Good squad Skill has nothing to do with it. Agreed on that one too :svs:

On a side note: I would hire back Talion any day of the week, and twice on saturday. He was quite the staff dispite popular belief End of note P.S. Eat grapes, they are yummy

Spaceballz is under suspension for inactivity, and erm I would have to say besides net and lea, most of our staff doesn't record many hits on ?listban, and net has calmed down a whole lot, and well lea is gone. So there goes most of our ban counts as of late.

The problem is those who aren't replying are prolly out playing gb...but I love your input!!!
