Psst there have only been two attemps at a duel leagues while I was on staff, one was successful, the first one, the second one, I had internet issues, and was forced to leave ss right as the league was going to start. Most leagues will fail if the coord of it isn't even there for the league lol

Well this is the thing. In every league I've run/overseen/played in the 17th over the past 3 years, there has always been a 10 minute rule that allows a squad to get that last minute player who is say coming from dsb or actually has "a life" and had some things to take care of prior to the match. Now don't get all upset I could care less if the match gets replayed or how many points each side was awarded. But there are always two sides to each arguement. Another fact is yes it would have been 5v4, as I don't think I was the only one to notice johz come in 5 mins before the match started. But say this, one person lagging doesn't seem like much eh? Well look at it this way. Nost lagging meant that there were kills that someone on fregon would have had on him, that instead let nost kill a fregon. Now it just became a 5v4 in co favor again, where the situation might have been a 5v4 in fregons favor. Now I say this because nost is a good solid player, and a good solid player, if lagging a tad, it is worse than a newb laggin to high -*BAD WORD*-. Now granted co had plenty of players there. They could have subbed in for nost, as akida came late and subbed for bounce (I think). So it really could go either way. Maybe Ladd woulda played and it would have had the same outcome, maybe not. I say both sides, neither of you happy, should just leave this match in the past and look foward to next week. I commend the staff, I feel this was a fair and just decision.

I would side with Mav on this one. Either my coding was rusty, or it just plain could not read bounce. I tried many weeks of testing my code to see if I could get it not to switch a guy with bounce, and it just plain didn't happen. So as I say, my bot coding is rusty but I couldn't get it to read bounce.

I hate it (more find amusing) when I come back after a long break, kill someone X times, they kill me once while typing, then call me an ez noob (even tho I migh be...), then get flamed out of the arena by the other ss players for calling me a noob.

I would like to have NBV's own private frequency day! Where I get my own frequency, and see how bad I can own two full teams alone in pub. Actually now that I think about it, me an H, set up by vile, won a pub vs NBV and H soccer game. It was quited amusing. So yeah priv freq's = bad, unless I"m the only one on it

lol well I'm gonna post something I'm surprised hasn't been posted already... These really don't give you the best player in 17th, they more give you the most addicted pubbers in the 17th! As the majority of your very strong players, pub or not, play a very good handful of events. Now not to say that no real good players made the event, but most big javvers, are big javvers because pub got too boring for them. I mean I personally find if difficult to stay in pub for too long, unless someone wants to try to chase my terr around. Ball games haven't been as compe!@#$%^&*ive as more people have been worried about R and Bounty, so being in a base doesn't normally help that out unless you are cloaked or stealthed. I mean really, this event is kinda unfair in certain ways, as I, even when I was in ss a lot, played a fair share of events and pub. But I never had the time to get in the top 20 of points, and I could have gotten top 20 in R, but it would have been a rather boring day to do so :/ Seriously I mean foof got into the R in the last one, but did you see anyone like Sever, H, Epox? -*BAD WORD*- I'd take anyone of those guys in pub any day supposed to half the people that made it into the last best of 17th. I think it would be like holding a duel tourny and naming the winner the best of the 17th, it just doesn't work :/ Ohh and I think akai already did mention this lol
