  1. by non-squad based it means exactly that. You do not have to be in a squad, or the same squad to play the league. Example, Xorx and I could RRL together. But you need to still have a roster, you can't have completely interchangable teams, otherwise that defeats the point of a league.
  2. You definately need to make it non squad based, as there are no active squads in the 17th.
  3. There should be a separation of church and state. America is not christian. The largest religion in America may be christianity, but that is not enough to allow laws to be mandated by religion. There is already a strong influence of religion on laws, just look at stem cell research. Religion faith is supposed to give you the guidlines on how, according to your beliefs, you should live your life, they are not absolute rules that should be imposed on people beyond your faith. Colonists first came to America to escape religious persecution, now it seems that those same people, who's forefathers founded this country based on religious freedom have actually throughout the years spent a lot of their time exercising their own religious persecution.
  4. As I posted in a different post, you can be mentally addicted to thousands of things without them containing physically addicting properties.
  5. Also astro if you read my post you will note that I said it was the only "politically correct" time for us to do so. In fact I mentioned it in both posts I made about the topic.
  6. If playing video games ruins your life it is addicting. It is proven that pot is mentally addicting, yet has no physical addictive properties, yet that is considered a medical addiction. You can be medically addicted to sex. I mean I can keep going. There are tons of things that are not physically addictive, but we become medically mentally addicted to. In the football example, if you do nothing but play football, someone could consider you addicted. But then you would become very good, dare I say amazing at football. Then you could play something like arena football, make over 60k a year, and turn your "addiction" into a career. I don't think addictions, in any form should be considered a mental health disease, but I do think there should be clinics open to help them.
  7. Thats just hypocrytical Astro. If the US had come into the scene and stopped the european appeasment of germany, they would have been looked down on with disgust. We came into the war the only time it was politically correct to. I mean sure we most likely could have come in before we were attacked, but we deliberately made it painstaking clear that we would keep a firm isolationist policy. Now you have sever wholly supporting that we should now have an isolationist policy, yet condemning us when we had one. Our people wanted nothing to do with the war. We were in a depression and felt that it was not our war to fight. Eventually we began supplying the allies with weapons and enacting embargos on some of the axis, until of course japan attacked and the government won the public opinion to join the war. Prior to the bombing of pearl harbor, the american people as a whole were against us going to war. And you can't win a war without the support of your people. Case in point: Iraq. And we even had the public majority to enter the war.
  8. The kid that used to be my best friend spent an average of 14 hours a day playing FFXI while he was at school. He lost his job and dropped out of college, well got kicked out for never going to class and having a .5 gpa because of it. Yes video games can be addictive.

Dolphins are !@#$%^&* smart. I would rather focus more time believing in myself. I do what is right, by my standards. I am a good man. If your God, happens to be the being that judges me when I die, then as he is supposedly a being of forgiveness, the acts I do on a daily basis, should get me into your heaven. In actually you can say the acts I do on a daily basis are more sincere in nature, because I don't do something nice because my church or god tells me to do so, I do something nice because it is in my heart to do so. A man should not do what is right because his God tells him to, a man should do what is right because it is truly what he, as a man wishes to do for a fellow man. If being a good man in your heart is not enough to be spared a lifetime of agony and misery, I pity those of you who worship this diety. If the only way to be spared an eternity with the deity called satan is through life long servitude, devotion, piety and prayer, you might want to reconsider just what you are worship, and just what kind of deity would require that of you. Also ironically the christian religion is polytheistic in nature. If you believe in god and Jesus, you believe in Lucifer aka satan. Satan himself in your religion is a deity of evil, a god of evil.
  10. Ironically sever, you support US have an isolationist poiicy, yet then call us cowards for exerting it in WWII. If you actually look at it we had no place in that war until the war was brought to our doorstep. Morally we could have stepped in any time, but as you see even in the world today morals and politics mean nothing. We had no more right to enter into WWII before the bombing of pearl harbor than we did to invade Iraq. Politically speaking that is.

Wow. Way to show intolerance. Do your parents happen to run around wearing white sheets?
  12. Its the architecture of the pyramids that are so amazing, not just the time it took them to be made. Some of the architectual marvels that occured in building the pyramids should not have been possible by those types of civilizations, some of those marvels are even impressive in our day and age, specially concerning the materials they had to work with. My point on those are that if Egyptians can build massive things with incredibly intricate technology, far beyond their supposed means, who said that someone couldn't have done the same with a boat? Also these pyramids were built thousands of years BEFORE christ was born. As for the truancies in the bible, they have been able to prove that some of the people in the bible existed, the places existed, and even that some of these people were at those places at around the correct time listed in the bible. That is all that can be proven about the bible. So in essence the bible could be interperated as a colorful version of religious history, where the people and places may be correct, but the actions are exaggerated to make for better reading. That of course can be neither proved, nor disproved.
  13. You also have your pyramids in egypt, still an architectual marvel by todays standards.

Yet you praise and worship the man jesus, but none of his teachings or ideals.
  15. Now I ask you, what is the probability that your religion, not even a fairly old religion, is the correct religion? What is the probability that religions that were around hundreds or thousands of years before yours are incorrect? Whats the probability that they're correct?

Also just a note, I do believe it is the vatican that decides what is cons!@#$%^&*uted as a miracle. In fact they just "crowned" another saint, this one is mexico, as he was giving away placebo's with rice in them, having scriptures engraved on the sides, and the pope credited the healing "effects" of these placebo's miracles. Being a miracle is declared so by the church, not a credible source of evidence.
  17. Lol nothing can be created or destroyed? I'd love to meet your physics teacher. It is that energy cannot be created or destroyed, matter can be created and destroyed, as when matter and anti matter meet the matter is in essence destroyed and converted into separate particles that are not matter, but contain the same amount of energy. Now you could argue that in essence matter cannot be destroyed then, but it is no longer matter just many particles containing energy.

    Jedi 4 life.
  19. My thesis is that people turn to religious faith because they lack that faith in themselves. Everything I have and will accomplish is due to the for!@#$%^&*ude and determination I have to succeed. People who are stalwartly religious often praise "God" as being the one who gave them the strength or determination to complete the act.
  20. First you need to learn the (actual) teachings of Christ before you can "bring" people to him.
  21. The irony is that what Jesus preached is nothing like what your bible tells you. Actually try to research what you preach instead of blindly following what the man in the big robes tells you. In fact, specifically research the sermon on the mount. You are ignorant in your own religion.

The bigger question would be: Do you believe christ, the human being existed? Or Do you believe in Jesus Christ, the son of god, savior of man. Either way... lol.
  23. my bootable drive isn't quite configured for what you are looking for, can you get a copy of Bart PE? You can customize that to run Ghost off the bootable disk.
  24. Lol Clinton is definately a liberal candidate. I'm all about nominating a moderate. Democrat or Republican, as long as they're moderate.
  25. When i boot mine it goes into a dos like gui allowing me to choose if I would like to direct image the machine, or use any list of utilities I have at work, including entering into the ghost menu. I also have a bart PE disk that will let you enter ghost from that. If you have no images, what are you trying to do with ghost?
