  1. Changes for next cycle (next month's compe!@#$%^&*ion): +25 bounty per kill. BountyRecord will be reset and only recgonize people with 10+ kills. Anything else I think of. Other Changes: "Oldish" terrier tested as of the end of this month's compe!@#$%^&*ion. ??? Suprise Update
  2. Ya, if people actually have a NEW complaint, go ahead and make a new thread for it. This is Fairly Pointless Version 10.
  3. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/vilerequiem/screenshot7.jpg During RRL http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/vilerequiem/screenshot8.jpg 9:06 PM EST And with that, this topic is decreed pointless to continue.
  4. I still like the idea of Heidi Klumbot. All we need is some pervert (MMaverick) to work about 10 hours a day writing preprogrammed responses to queries like !sex or !tickle, and we'd have 200 pop before you know it.
  5. Yes...heh...the attempt to "attract more people" by changing the settings. When Perni's the only one in the zone at noon EST, ya, more people are sorta needed.
  6. This is not meant to be a flaming topic, just post the following: 1) What is your political view? 2) What made you see life that way? 3) Key issues for you (in the US election or otherwise)
  7. Remember kids, there's no shields in pub. Get these silly delusions away from your brains where they might do harm
  8. John Kerry can explain it better then I ever could: http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/tax_reform.pdf and http://www.johnkerry.com/issues/economy/middle_class.html
  9. Pub should be a place in which the following people reside: Heidi Klum for the guys Fabio for the ladies And they want to have sex with you constantly. That'd drive pop up
  10. Oh, this one is utterly hilarious: Our president, who's made us a safer place... http://www.nydailynews.com/08-20-2004/news...5p-192424c.html Whilest Mr. Kerry gave his 45 minute speech in the open Ya know who else used to travel around in secret with massive protection and away from protestors? I'll give ya the initials: S.H. THE MAN COULD NOT EVEN PICK UP A LETTER FROM A VIETNAM VETERAN WITH 3 LIMBS MISSING AND IN A WHEELCHAIR YESTERDAY, WITH CAMERA CREWS EVERYWHERE IN CASE HE GOT SHOT WE WOULD KNOW WHO DID IT. What's wrong with this picture?
  11. Tempest becomes so in love that he -*BAD WORD*-s his pants...except he's not wearing any pants today... CLEANUP IN AISLE 2!
  12. goes Soup Nazi on Kent's -*BAD WORD*-, "NO 17TH PARALLEL FOR YOU!" ?ban -e5000 KentBrockman
  13. The form is on www.subspacehq.com
  14. by some coincidence Telson suddenly came in and happened to be just ordained as a priest that day. Kent asks him if he and Delic can be wed. Telson> Sure, i'll do it But before the ceremony can begin...
  15. Yummy http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/vilerequiem/screenshot3.jpg That cut out stat says 60 people btw, at 10pm that's -*BAD WORD*- good
  16. Or the president could be like Kerry and say the following in sumup: "Companies who outsource American Jobs no longer get tax breaks". But people are right, the general consensus is manufacturing jobs are going to become very scarse due to our working for higher wages to pay inflated prices (Colbert did a hilarious Daily Show piece the other day about Gas price anti-gouging), the most easily fixed being importing drugs, but yet the president refuses to do this (He may have switched recently, I don't have time to check. If he did, it's a flip-flop). We are becoming a service economy, which is why the Clinton Boom happened, even after the tech bubble burst. Because Americans LOVE people to do -*BAD WORD*- for them like make burgers. But oddly enough, Mcdonalds Employees have been reclassified under Bush as, you guessed it, MANUFACTURING EMPLOYEES. I actually do CNC work, that pisses me off. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/02/20/...ain601336.shtml
  17. This is the official point system as shall be used for the public compe!@#$%^&*ion (aka, these 2 weeks): Goal: 2400 points Flags: 600 pts for all 12 every minute (50 per) Kill: Opponent's bounty, minimum 30 pts a kill, max ??? Rating: [(Average*kills*10)+(wins-losses)*100]/(wins+100) (I forgot that kills factors into the formula too, sorry) Average: Avg bounty of your kills KOTH is OUT as it is a nonexact point giving method. If you wish to enter the Public Tournament, you have two methods of entry. The first is to take one of 20 open slots for Best TOTAL POINTS (top scores in zone). To do this, the flags and scoring become all important. The second is to get one of the 20 slots for Best RATING in zone. To do this you will need a high w/l ratio and high avg kills, as the avg is factored in directly to the formula. If 2 slots are awarded to the same person, that's 1 less person in the tourney. If there is a tie for the last spot in a category, it will go to the person with the highest Score/Rating, whichever is NOT the category they're eligible for. You can see your current statistics and zone statistics at http://subspace.edome.net Now, we know how to get in, but what are the rules of this tournament? Simply put: 1) The Tournament is Invitation Only (obviously) 2) It shall be held monthly after the initial compe!@#$%^&*ion (which is a 2 week period) 3) The event will be much like Elim, but in rounds. Each round lasts 5 minutes. At the end of this time, if you have not killed 1 person, you are out of the compe!@#$%^&*ion. 4) If you die once, you are out of the compe!@#$%^&*ion. 5) Any ship is allowed, public settings. When there are 10 or less remaining participants, X-Radar will be prized to all (added to all ships at a fair energy drain). All ships will begin fully greened. 6) Any and all tactics are allowed, except cheating. Greening will allow you to restock, but the arena might not make this an easy task. This includes vulching, hiding, teaming, "laming", whatever. So long as you get 1 kill every 5 minutes 7) When there are 2 participants left, the Final Round shall automatically begin. This lasts 10 minutes. At the end of 5, all specials will be removed. At the end of 10, if nobody has died, there will be no winner for the month/time period. A player will be allowed 1 lagout. There will be no other mod !@#$%^&*istance given during the match, except a blueout. Sound like fun? Then try your luck at getting in! :jules:
  18. It's 125 because in 2 days, the soccer/flag pts are getting slashed too so that: Kill Pts KOTH Pts Flag Pts Goal Pts are all comparable. Just 50% of that is done early $
  19. Yes, I wrote a paper about this for a US AP exam which I passed well enough to recieve credit from a tech school for it. While there were many economic factors involved, one of the major (edit)ins!@#$%^&*utions(/edit) the Confederacy wished to preserve was Slavery. Why did Dr. MLK have to march for civil rights if the southerners were so accepting of them? Why did the attack WORK on John McCain if they're not racist (Not the general pop, SC Republicans, this was a primary)? Remember, he had previously beaten Bush in Iowa and New Hampshire and had the momentum going into SC. The problem with implication is, when history showed the attack worked, it's not implied anymore. The McCain (yes, the same one) Feingold Campaign Finance reform states that a campaign can not coordinate activities with a 527 organization (Moveon/Swift Vets/etc...) or it will be in breach of Federal Election Law.
  20. Oh, and this is for the Dr. Personally: What do you think Black Baby implies in SOUTH FUGGING CAROLINA? The 1st state to seceede over Slavery? Home of Strom Thurmond? Still proud of the Stars n Bars And even if they aren't racist against blacks, they sure as -*BAD WORD*- are about an implied interracial marraige/adoption. Lest we forget the Confereracy's illusterous history.
  21. Whoops...the Bush campaign IS tied to the SBV's (I love having info, it's fun) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/vilerequiem/swiftboat.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/vilerequiem/swiftboat3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/vilerequiem/swiftboat2.jpg Yay for violation of campaign finance laws! Then there's this: http://mightyspork.blogspot.com/2004/08/fl...-swiftboat.html And this: http://216.239.57.104/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-...gle+Searchbr%20 Now, Ken Cordier is in the swifboat ad and it turns out that he was on ome Bush/Cheney Steering Committee until August 19. His name has now disappeared from the Bush/Cheney website. Very simple logic: 1.) Someone ordered the Webmaster at www.georgewbush.com to scrub Ken Cordier's name from the website altogether. It didn't just "disappear" by itself. (Considering as this is Bush's OFFICIAL website, we're getting beyond the "anonymous" attack dogs that I referenced above). 2.) Whoever the webmaster is that scrubbed the page and then uploaded it again (there is a permanent record) must be subpoenaed and questioned as to WHO told him/her to take Ken Cordier's name off of Bush's official website. 3.) Any direct linkage between the Bush Campaign and the swift boat ad is a violation of federal election laws. 4.) FAR WORSE: Any attempt to hide evidence of a crime is Obstruction of Justice. Now we are talking major felony activity. Now tell me again: Where's the evidence with Kerry and Moveon?
  22. I actually wasn't talking about the WMD's when I said that Quoting the wrong guy is flattering, I suppose I have a rep Just for fun, let's pick a classic Bush Lie: The McCain Race Card Now, you might say these are random people. Incorrect. Primaries go from state to state as the election season moves along (the one exception being Dean this past season. but that's because he had obscene amounts of cash). If you don't think Karl Rove knew exactly what he was doing in South Carolina, you're absolutely nuts. http://www.greenbaynewschron.com/page.html?article=126763 Couldn't have said it better myself (the OTHER definition of lying). This of course ties into the Swift Boat Vets, but as the Freedom of Information act declassifies their records they're going down in flames as it is. Ciao.
  23. Err...Vietnam was like a reverse American Revolution. Remember the ambushes of the British as they were marching into boston? At least the colonists had to have guns back then to do carnage. Any little kid with a bomb could blow up a whole unit. Now, imagine this kid isn't wearing a uniform, and you're there because of a undeclared war that is slowly becoming less and less popular in America as time went by. You wanted to survive, you did what you had to do. There's a saying among the veterans, "If you didn't do or know someone who did do horrible things in Vietnam, you're full of -*BAD WORD*-". Including the usage of WMD, against a tiny Asian nation, and evidence beginning coming out that Kissinger committed treason by negotiating with the VC to extend the war. There's a reason that Vietnam is studied in West Point today as an example of bad management. http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/082204Y.shtml There's your "shooting a kid in the back" btw. As for shooting farm animals and burning villages, those WERE commands of the Army at the time to stop any resistance. Shooting the animals removes the food supply, burning the village removes any decent place to live. There's a number of do-*BAD WORD*-ented disasters (such as the Mi Lay massacre) that were directly caused by these policies. Nowhere in Kerry's testimony did he say HE did anything. He was describing the general climate of the war. But if you can prove you say is true, go right ahead
  24. Because if they arrested Kerry then they'd have to arrest half the US soldiers that went to Vietnam. The US also has a policy where "We don't commit war crimes". Like when we firebombed half of Germany in WWII. Or Agent Orange in Vietnam. That -*BAD WORD*- is STILL causing problems over there, and it's been 40 years. That's not lying, that's the US not doing anything about an admitted problem.
