  1. bots use the old connection method as previously mentioned somewhere, thats why they need to be in a txt file (to allow it). And i think that source code is old, if you find something old and want to have a new look and feel to it, then you buy/make a new one ... right ? Besides by editing you take away most of the fun of making it and i didn't mean you personally freakmonger, it was to anyone who wants it
  2. Why do you need the source anyway ? If you can't code it from scratch, what makes you think you can alter things well enough to upgrade the client ?
  3. not really, a stop command is what it says. Stop the code, in the ide, it jumps to that line so we can check it out, but for some reason the compiler doesn't remove then and see raises them as errors.

  6. hmmmmmm. Possibly elvl data isn't purged or offset of tiles are wrong :/ when save as ssme compatible :/

  8. subspace server has to be majorly hacked to support 3D. Every coordinate has to be expanded to include a z axis. I think writing a server from scratch and then optimize it is much more reliable.

  10. it isn't really. You add/ ........----> You add/ .....-----> You add/ remove lvz/files ----> remove images -----> remove map objects Map objects are based on defined images. Images are on their turn based on files from lvz.

  13. lemme find this pecular smiley hmm aaah there it is or will apply here for me I dunno, i usually make a pretty good GUI, but the lvz form really was something else this time. It has to keep the overview of all packages, yet specify things when 1 is selected. It has to be compact for easy use, yet not too crowded to look between a forest of buttons. I thought the property list would be a good idea because thats how its used in elvl and i like (re)using stuff in all the same way.
  14. well no, just like map objects, 2 treeviews. The upper for lvz package contents, the lower for the image objects similar like map objects

  17. you can ask microsoft for windows cds if you got only recovery disks where windows is preinstalled ?? How, who , what, tell me. I'm used to reinstalling my pc every 6 months but i can't because i don't got windows MCE 2005 (and i don't want to install a less legal .....again)

  22. ehm... Save as SSME Compatible in File menu? maybe ? yes ? no ? And SSME is so friendly to auto !@#$%^&*ociate lvl files to SSME once you open it. Besides, why the !@#$%^&* do you want to use SSME ever again anyway?
  23. use (MaxEnergy - currentEnergy) to get 0 = full and max = 0. Though, overlaying an lvz would require a frame of the bar for each pixel it has to move a bit. Thats a lot of lvz's
  24. are you absolutely sure it's the same settings. (try renaming one .old and make a copy from the other one with the first name) ... only 1 person knows how it's handled :/. You all know who :/
  25. awwww.. well it won't be finished until you write the import & export functions . It's byte handling, like you did with elvl. I suck at that + increased difficulty with compression ... ugh.
