Eureka! Everything is so much readable now.
-
Yup, this information is already out there. I've seen both articles before.
-
Already presented it. Chances are I'm getting 95% to 100% grade on it.

http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/CIS101-PP-ContinuumSubspace.zip If you don't have Office, you can view it by launching play.bat file (one of the last slides will end prematurely and have glitches because PowerPoint Viewer 2003/2007 has bugs).
-
Do you happen to have ClearType or font smoothing turned on? If so, turn it off. Then you will see what I mean...hopefully.

Heh heh heh, I see what you did there.

Perhaps the template of subspaceonlines.com could be used? One way to make everything look all the same and universalized. Testtube has uploaded the ZIP archive, weighing 2.45GB. Will have this uploaded and ready for download within some hours..

Trackmania doesn't use Source engine. Personally, I don't think Source engine would be appropriate for Subspace, especially for a 2D environment. Although I would be curious to know what Dr Brain and others might say (if they had the chance to review the Source SDK). Don't you have to own Half-Life 2 at the minimum to play any game that is under Source engine?

Source engine is a 3D game engine that Half-Life 2, Left4Dead, and Counter-Strike: Source are made on. I'm not sure Source engine has anything to do with Continuum/Subspace. :?

I don't believe you. Where did you get this information? Reminds me of how dogs that are approaching your goats and animals as prey first have to make physical contact before you are allowed to even shoot the attacking dogs...even if your animals are fenced...otherwise it's called animal abuse. Source: my dad's experience a few years ago that I was in second/first-hand witness. ^^ Almost totally irrelevant. Think laws aren't strict enough? Plus corrupt/retard-free enough (referring to my dad's case)?
-
Correct. Look into TrackMania Nations (free via Steam). The Steam-downloaded and installed version works fine with or without Steam. Play around with it, copy the game over to a computer without Steam, etc.
-
There is nothing stopping anyone from creating their own SSDL webportal software on their own server resources.
-
The problem wasn't the sequential id's... it was downloading each file with a connection, which kind of killed the server. which is really easy to get access to, at my school i usually download files at 10MiB/s At my workplace we have 100Mbit fiber. The problem was also.. If you have a very powerful internet connection of great downstream bandwidth, plus you throw in a script with no wait time between requests, and you have hundreds of very small files (relative to internet connection), this results with server rape within a small amount of time due to so many requests being made per second.

Now for 200.

Testtube will try to get me a ZIP archive on Sunday.
-
Yeah, donations are still open. If you could, send me the details of your advertising campaign. I think the more campaigns the better in Facebook. I did some Googling and research on Facebook advertisements, found that most people get a CTR between 0.01 to 0.3 -- higher in few cases. If you have any suggestions, advice or tips -- they would be very much appreciated.

How is the torrenting going to work if you don't have all the files? It would be respectful not to use SSDLBackup.zip (if you still have it), as Testtube wanted to package it himself this weekend to make sure it doesn't contain material that he doesn't want in there. Unfortunately I have told him already, through my overreactive hastey forfeit drama, not to put together the ZIP archive. I have messaged him a few times, but I don't want to overdo the messaging...as I am not getting any responses back. Back at Step 0.
-
Would advertising be more effective if all the advertisements were billed and maintained through one account?
-
Nope. I didn't think anyone used that zone, so I "turned it off." I also found out about some Subgame2 bugs that could let a user who has ownership over a subarena take over the zone.

Hello TestTube, We humbly apologize for leading such activity which has inevitably brought your hosting resources to its knees. We further apologize and admit that in the way the download was conducted was unethical and wrong. L Y N X and Cre have nothing to be blamed for because their acts were merely a continuation of my original desires and objectives. I realize our lack of participation in this controversy has further caused damage and grief, and we apologize for this too. We are sorry - I am sorry. We respect your privacy, resources, worth, and services to this community and in no way wish to undo great charity. The last thing we want to do is make enemies. BlueToast's original purpose in this community is to be independent and partitioned from politics and nonsense, and I believe that we have unfortunately crossed this line through childish, stupid and immature acts. I would ask for everyone's forgiveness to L Y N X and Cre, as they are not the responsible party. It is my fault, and without furtherado I (BlueToast) formally resign current and future activities within this community with the exception of BlueT hosting services through Isometry. This is my doing, and I have caused enough damage and nuessence to this community. I am done. In humility and embarrassment, Joshua Szanto (BlueToast CEO & President) EDIT (12/3/2009): Applied strikethrough.
