EDIT: No, I did not purchase anything and I do not intend to do so.
  3. Cats poop rainbows?
  4. EDIT2: If you have to censor inappropriate material, then do it (before hand if possible). I believe you have a conception there (though might be misunderstanding) and thinking that the songs within your atmosphere = everything and all. There are plenty of songs out there that are appropriate/do not have vulgar material and such. (PS. The above is opinion; I am not going to go into a full fledged debate/argument like some of the other threads we have on these forums citing sources, statistics, etc.) And if need be, as I have often found, you can always make a "radio edit" version with inappropriate parts "photoshopped" out or whatever. I get the impression that you are thinking it is the end of the world if swearing and cursing mode is disabled. EDIT: Also, if you don't agree with me or need not my opinions and couple cents worth of thought, fine by me. EDIT3: This reply is a mess lol.
  5. Why not just completely leave out vulgar, inappropriate material? All problems solved. Period.
  6. Has someone accomplished a pyramid-scheme like thing yet? lol. *imagines news headlines of Hyperspace coppers cracking down on Hyperspace crime*
  7. Identifies a network. But isn't this what that non-SSC warning pop-up in Subspace and Continuum clients are for?
  8. I put together a rough draft for a starter; take it or leave it. Needs completion/adjustment/etc: Game Clients Continuum Releases Full Patches Skins Sounds Banners Graphics (other than fonts, banners, shipsets, tilesets) <be able to sort by type; esp. All files need to be checked, verified, screenshots, and identified. Corrupted files need to be deleted, made note of, or repaired. All files should be totally rearchived in at least ZIP format (for most universal compatibility); may consider also providing a 7z version for the bandwidth and filesize cautious people. A similar permissions system to IPB/vBulletin/phpBB/SMF; categories would be like forums if you see what I mean.
  9. reCAPTCHA, anyone? WordPress has this plugin where you have to click on a piece of text, which triggers a popup or AJAX-based expansion revealing a reCAPTCHA that must be confirmed, and upon confirmation the e-mail address is revealed.
  10. So that's why none of the decoders were working for me. X_x
  11. 'subspace' is a service (or protocol) pre-installed into DD-WRT's configurations that you can either block or allow, or prioritize for QoS (Quality of Service). This is from protocol.h: { "subspace", 0}, // Subspace - 2D asteroids-style space game - // http://sscentral.com Mind you, when I use the term protocol I am not referring to the netcodes, physics, server & client protocols, etcetera. Take for example that QoS page in my screenshot. Theoretically, by adding 'subspace' to that list and setting it to 'exempt' while QoS is enabled, users connected to my network will attain the utmost, best possible downstream and upstream speeds and latency possible when playing 'subspace'. The reason I created this thread was mainly because I was surprised to find SubSpace in the list, and even further surprised to find that it is indeed referring to SubSpace/Continuum by VIE/Priit (see protocol.h from DD-WRT repository). PS. This is my first time using a router with DD-WRT on it. Just got this baby in the mail from someone at hardforum.com. =]
  12. http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/ddwrt-subspace.png Oh thou blissful ecstasy of love! Proof at: http://svn.dd-wrt.com:8000/dd-wrt/browser/src/router/shared/l7protocols.h (CTRL+F for subspace) Demo at: http://www.dd-wrt.com/demo/QoS.asp (Enable, then check drop down list)
  13. Two hours behind schedule! Chop chop!
  14. +1 I am pretty sure kingtaco11 doesn't know what he's talking about when he says that.
  15. http://twbbs.tw/3456539.html Someone ought to do one of Priit.
  16. There is no such thing as true Christian conversion via force. Anyone who is for "forced Christian conversion" most likely isn't even a Christian in the heart (my opinion). PS. That is also very sad. *contemplates on technicality and usage of word "force/d" in general context to self*
  17. I beg to differ.
  18. More details please.
  19. Bring it on. Will be tough to get some dedicated listeners, but good luck!
  20. The bar is just plain black to me, with the drop downs on the right side as normal. Left side has some witty and small blue text saying "SubSpace". Anyone else have this problem?
  21. I wonder if LeftsideChaos (http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showuser=7158) would be willing to make an advertisement or two. I really like his signature image, as it has a similar or matching style to Juan's ships (hint: cartoony). I think it is a pretty inviting and kid-friendly style.
  22. Nobody would ever be able to send me a private message if they didn't know what arena I was in! But but but... how would they be able to ban you?
  23. Another one rides the bus!
  24. Current check: ssdir.playsubspace.com - Online w/ Hyperspace sscentral.com - Online w/ Hyperspace ds1.krslynx.com - Online w/ Hyperspace ds1.hlrse.net - Online w/o Hyperspace
  25. Reminds me: we should put a Google Analytics tracker in SSDL. I image it would primarily consist of accessing the "old database" and moving things over to a new database of better design and structure. :]
