Has nothing to do with your phone being able to execute Perl. In fact, the one machine executing Perl is the server itself. The server executes and processes the file before sending it to you. Maybe your phone doesn't have proper support for XML files.

You need to change Line 2 to match the location on the server to where the binary dirserver and config.txt sit.

According to Snrrrub, his never crashed. So I don't know. I enabled logging on ds1.hlrse.net this time. EDIT: I suppose you could turn it back on? :? Your call.

doc, I have no idea if this has any correlation with your script, but I got an automated e-mail from our server saying ds1.hlrse.net was stopped because it kept crashing. It is unusual because this is the first time ds1.hlrse.net has crashed (important to note that UpstreamServers is disabled and has previously ran 1.0 and as of about a week ago running 1.1). EDIT: I see that sscentral.com and krslynx.com are down too. krslynx.com might still be running v1.0, but sscentral.com is running v1.1. A part of me wants to think that something about 2 to 3 hours ago might have caused all directory servers running Snrrrub's software crashed together.

CRe is working on getting the old Subdir website coded so that I can boot that baby back up. In case you are not familiar with Subdir, it is a website (currently inaccessible) that was made to list all known directory servers and report their status (online/offline/unknown). It was never programmed, so it was basically just a static list of directory servers w/o status reporting.

Also please add ds.hlrse.net as well. Yet another directory server. *s*Directory:IP:sscentral.com,sscentral.sscuservers.net,ssdir.playsubspace.com,ds1.krslynx.com,nanavati.net,ds1.hlrse.net,ds.hlrse.net (Note that ds.hlrse.net != ds1.hlrse.net, and that ds.hlrse.net is the very same server as hlrse.net -- but you cannot use hlrse.net for some reason, as that will not work) http://stats.hlrse.net/ (Index file set to current.xml via .htaccess, so the other two files are also accessible by adding their filename at the end of the URL)

Ethically yes, and especially yes if hosted on SSC. BlueT is meant to be a haven for non-SSC, independent from the community and its business (including its politics). That is what makes it different: non-SSC. SSCV on the other hand though, different story. Why would this matter? That's just a piece of text in a file. Has nothing to do with the encoding of the file itself (but only for how the browser should treat it).

And in Notepad, it shows everything on ONE line. What's wrong with Notepad++ and Winblows? I ran "Convert to ANSI" on all these files a week ago! This is frustrating.

@security.dll Nope, didn't forget security.dll. Same error. Hold up! I regenerated the scrty and scrty1 files by executing clients\Continuum.exe Z and it worked this time. Did I use the ones Subgame2 generated?? ?_? Possibly. By the way, I am unable to execute Continuum.exe Z (or S) on my server. It simply just does nothing.

Back up and running. Latest Linux binary of Snrrrub's directory server also runs on our webserver (1.0 did not), so I will get that one up and running later.
