Would be more fun if, just like sg, it would happen every 2-3 months and you would have to signup. A lot of 'vets' without any items versus the players who did not reinc, this is very fun ^^ With reinc there is no need for resets (besides the fact the database can get to large). I reincarnated twice in sg but I got bored with sg when they changed everything, factions, capital locations, etc.

Another possible solution to reduce brickwarping: Give bricks a reload time, if you lay a brick, it takes an X amount of minutes before it is reprized. This could be done per spawn or always up to your max bricks, which means you can lay multiple bricks in a single death. This is in between one time use bricks and the current state.

Other RPG elements could be fun... Something like skill points would own: Example: Getting 500 exp gives you 1 skill point, next skill points become harder and harder to get. Example: Speed and thrust - x% per point for every ship Energy - x% ... Recharge - x% ... Special items / extra slots - Special item at 20 points, every 40 points an extra item slot. Since it gets increasingly harder to get more points, your choice is limited. This would add huge diversity amongst players. Experience per ship could be another idea, experience becomes easier to get by, but when you have multiple ships you have to actually kill people in them / win flag games to reach for the higher items.
