VIP was SSC Network Staff, SSCentral.com Staff, SSDL.com Staff, Retired Staff, and 1 or 2 other long time members of the forum. Well, people kept asking me what VIP was, and blah blah, so I figured just to solve it all, I'd break it all down into what it really is.

Off Topic: Know what I never noticed til this thread... When you quote someone, it enters your time for the quote, and not some sort of dynamic time like the posts. I quoted blue at 9:31, but his says 12:31, and his post to me was 7:22pm, and to him 10:22pm. I never noticed that til now... sorta gay honestly.

Sadly it really doesn't. All VIP does is give access into restricted zones without having to be on the permit.txt, overrides the reserved.txt, and allows you to enter as a subspace client, all stuff a normal staffer could do, but this allows it without staff powers. Nothing really major, was just a way to make someone special, but not giving them any sort of staff powers, and priit adopted it for allowing subspace in for bots having issues and users having issues with continuum.

Administrators - Run Forums Super Moderators - Moderate General Forums Moderators - Development, General, Zone, and Squad Forums moderators. Zone and Squad Forums get 1 member (Owner) in the group. Or if VIP, they stay that, as it is no different honestly. VIPs - all it really is for is active members who have done something for the community, or members who have contributed to these forums in a positive way and I like to hear their input. Simple as that really.

... Loops, leader of the council, was the op you speak of. So nothing says the council is the best place. Cyberise use to have billing powers to handle names due to running the main website for the game, and I myself had quick connection with him when I had requests, was very nice. But since then, I get requests, issues, and questions all the time, but nowhere to send them due to no connection to any ops anymore. It would be nice if one of them stepped up and worked out of these forums a bit, because I hate sending people to the script, and they come back to me saying they got no help, and I feel like I failed them.

happy ? No, and you have lost your warn privileges. If a general moderator or smod did it, fine, they had good reason and most of them know not to undo an admin's actions without so. But you requested them, and they we're granted to you for issues in your zones' forum, not the general forums. If this issue was in there, than ok, but you did it outside of your forum.

Yes, because if you did, the entire world would be banned by you. Sometimes it seems you only disagree to disagree. We'd say the sky is blue, and you'd say it was red just for the !@#$%^&* of ruffling someone's feathers. I can't ever seem to find a post by you, where there wasn't some sort of disagreement you had to point out and begin an entire debate over it. ---------------------------------------------- Back to the topic. We plan to really give a lot of info on the history that built the game, and what it is now. Ghost Ship is more down in person than he sounded on the forum. And same with MikeTheNose. I think if grav actually read some of my posts where there was talk about the community, he'd see I say it is in shambles, and noone will work together for the greater good, only themselves. And if he asks, we will probably answer something along the lines, that "in recent years, the centralization of the community has fallen apart, and the player base has began to dwindle. But there are still many trying to restore what is left, and bring some new player base to the game". Maybe better worded, but along those lines. If we make it all sound like gum drops and fairies, and the best place in the world to be (Playboy Mansion of course), than we'd just be lying, and piss more people off and get/keep less players. But if we tell them there is a lot of room for improvement, development, and players, it might spark some interest. The main reason I returned to Subspace back in 2000 was that vie had dropped the game, and I read how much it had changed, and how the players we're trying to pick up the pieces. I wanted to help, and was interested to see what a player ran game truly looked like. There ain't many of em, and not many survive as long as we have. I'd like to focus on the diversity of zones, the way so much of the gameplay can be customized, and really just give a lot of info that might interest people who love to develop for games. Cause a lack of any major development is what has killed us the most in my personal opinion.

I'm being nice. Most the Staff, VIPs, and Forum Owners want you banned.

I knew all of those, they been that way for years now. Everything else has it noticeable, but never tried it in the RPG.

Sadly, as with any game, Servers/Zones can ban whoever they please, for whatever reason. Sadly, unlike other games, there isn't 20 of the same zone though
