  1. mm... seems priit !@#$%^&*ed up when he set the default to 1280x1024... I bet it is being caused by wide screen monitors. Well, just my guess...
  2. ?setmail name@name.tld Already there bro. Just disabled. And that would be biller side, not client.
  3. What is this Resolution bug? Haven't heard of any yet...
  4. QUOTE(SD>Big @ Sep 6 2007, 07:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>can anyone refresh my dusty brain as to what the ingame chat name for ssforum is? i thought it was ssforum.net but that seems to be empty. PM Sent. Chat SSForum became too public with annoyingness, so we dropped it.
  5. The issue is, noone can seem to keep CSS the same, as HTML and Tables have, and noone can seem to make CSS act the same in their browsers. The issue is mostly IE, but being that still is just as much as ff (54% of our users = FF, 42% = IE last I looked), and the default loaded in computers, it makes it a pain to code webpages that are compliant with all. Even some professional designers will agree it is a total !@#$%^&* to get pages to work in both, and that is where you spend most your coding time.

  7. http://polix.sscentral.com Any ideas on the left and right highlight boxes? (yes, I do plan to dress them up a bit more to make em stand out. Header images most likely) And any new ideas for the right side area of the site? Other than the box seen here: http://www.m33p.de/sscnew.jpg, or ideas on what to do with it? Would be great... Thanks. Oh, and anyone who wants to make category images for the news, lemme know. Asked Larrythehamster, but seems he is busy as !@#$%^&* or something, and I need some more of em, or even a new style, either or. Just needs to have the silver border the current 2 have so it fits into the site right.
  8. Yes, because TW Jumped the gun, it got out, and I had all my messages full with questions if it was legit or not, and all sorts of !@#$%^&*. He had the same. So yes, it was released, just not when it was suppose to have been. P_L I've known for a long time, and is a good guy, so I'm not saying anything bad of him, just pointing out that I'm not making any big deal of the release until this weekend, that is all.
  9. Doesn't sound official to me?
  10. The thing was, TW jumped the gun, and so as kind of a punishment or a don't do it again from what I got, GS went ahead and posted their link in net-wide messages, and had me announce it and set things up on SSForum. So really, we were still not suppose to release it til this weekend, unless that has since changed... but he was still announcing it as so.

  12. Fix to this issue: Windows XP Data Execution Protection Open up DEP and see if you have 'Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only', if so, check 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select'. Next add Continuum.exe to the list, and apply. Than you can go back to 'Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only' if you'd like, and it will load fine.
  13. I already discussed with GS what we're gonna try. This is going to take a bit of work on your part, but if your down, I'm gonna have you try a fresh install. Talk to me in game, and I'll give you steps to doing this without losing anything.
  14. If you are having any issues installing Continuum .40, or any bugs with this version, please post here.
  15. I have Thurs, Fri, and Sat off... hoping to make a lot of progress than. Also Mon & Tues, and Thurs & Fri next week. Although may pick of some hours at the store, since the warehouse is low on hours.
  16. SSCentral.com --------------------------- Design Time: 2days (creatix, could of been less if not issues of time zones and such.) w3c Compliant: 10mins CSS Layout: 2.5 weeks, still found bugs in Opera and K-Meleon (sp?). Said !@#$%^&* it... Now Tables Swearing: Yeah... But who don't do that anyways... IE: FF worked... fixed in IE, worked in FF fine. Fixed in FF, broke IE, fixed IE, broke FF, fixed both, next issue... man, !@#$%^&* it... Tables it is.. Bill Gates: Why doesn't that !@#$%^&* take control and decide !@#$%^&* on his own again... things use to kind of work than. java script: Actually, no issues there... luckily.
  17. 100x35 was a ss website standard.. The issue lately, I've been job hunting like mad, so time has become a bit limited again. I have 3 days off coming up, so spend a lot of time then. Currently working on applying for a job at Google Inc actually, just not sure what pathway to take, but the lady on the phone was nice and gave me some ideas, so may continue working with them to figure a good place to sit. But I have a good chance at getting a job there if I really pursue it, or so I'm told. Anyways, I'll keep you guys updated...
  18. There is far too many, and Zeta is older than 7yrs. ReDs comes to mind, or !@#$%^&* Yankees... uh... hmm... LAME... Dunno, there is a lot of em that have been around for ages.

    TW Lag

Do atleast 100+ Cycles, and than we may be able to help. I'd like to see if that last hop before the server changes at all.
  20. Got some more progress today, but TT needed some help with something for his work, so I had to take a bit and do that. Just now got it done, (7:50pm PST), and he went to bed like an hr ago, but meh. Probably did more than he expected too, but it should help him. So now, I'll get back to it. ------------------------------ I got the 3 top boxes into html/sliced up, and changed the W3C icons to Cypher's. Funny enough, match into the design a lot, and look a lot better. I'll probably upload an update once I fix a few bugs.
  21. It has been. Few years back we we're all scoring like 400,000+ in eg for a while on the old old SSCX server. Entire zone would suddenly just spec, and yeah... good times. Funny enough, if I remember right, I think it was a side effect of Catid's attacks on the biller and such.
  22. So in other words, it might be that game causing it, not continuum.
  23. Don't worry bout the menu, there is other ways the pages will take care of it.
  24. Ok... Fixed and Fixed... Since you all kept complaining about the Menu, I put the finalized one that has been on my pc up. I may tweak 1 or 2 still, but I had planned to move a lot around. Anyways, there is how it sits for now. Wednesday I will do some more work to it, as the g/f closes (12:30-9) and I am off all day, so I won't have her bugging me to do something and I can spend some more time on this. For now, gonna go hop a shower, and get ready to drive 221miles round trip. Later guys.
  25. Done.
