Slysoft's software hasn't ever been the best, nor the worse. But I don't think it is any different than any of the other virtual cd drive programs out there. Sounds like it just does the work of creating the ISO and doing that for you.

I had thought about that mod, but it is far too open. And your sub forum wouldn't be under your forum, or else, EVERYONE's forum would be under there, that is the main issue. Although I still have thought about it for squads.

The issue with a group based forum, is there is no way for YOU to manage who is in the group, and WE don't exactly have the time, nor want to constantly be adding or deleting people. This is why none of my admins replied to you. Would be nice if IPB had this option available, but sadly, it does not. passwords suck, yes, but we have no issue hopping on at notice to change it. Lemme know what you decide.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to do it. Been soo busy with forum update bugs and all sorts of !@#$%^&*... I swear, IPB is going downhill.

hmm.. neither do I, and I was getting it. The issue was a table in the db dissapeared, I restored it. But Fast Reply still kills the php NL2BR function. Only when posted soon after with no reply though. TOOO IPB this error goes.

1. It was not allowed. 2.3.0 had a bug where permissions allowed it. Fixed it with 2.3.1 2. In the past, have had many issues with malicious code on other forums, so from day 1, SSCentral + Subspace.net/SSForum/Forum Central have never allowed it. It got turned on by accident recently for a while in sigs, but that was fixed. Never allowed in posts.

Ok. So it is when you post too soon with no reply, and it merges the posts, it is not doing the NL2BR function. Gonna have to look into this.

Now, lets look up the meaning of Examples: Now, reading this, we can figure that the "Examples" given are just 'representatives of a group' or 'one serving as a pattern of a specific kind'. Your actions we're part of the group represented and we're part of the same pattern. So thus, the ban was legit. Explained a bit better for you?

On another note, even though SSCentral.com was mentioned, the main site is still only pushing in the 15,000hit/day range... no changes really at all. The forums on the other hand have dropped a tiny bit, but that is probably just do to summer vacation, nothing related.

Well, your zone has PriitK and Pure_Luck. DoCk> never wanted to be on council or anything to do with it, so be lucky you have even Pure_Luck stepping up and joining it, which was more just to have an active TW rep. That is great that you run TWD, but what about fin1 who runs all of EG's leagues? Or Demishadow, blur, and I think nelson and mauler, who run the biggest and longest running league who has it's own zone, Premier League? No offense, but they have just as much reason, if not more in Demi's case, to be on council. I myself choose not to, although I have been told I should rejoin, as it really serves no purpose to me. I do what I need for my websites, and involve my staff and members in what I need rather than the council. It takes a shorter time to get things decided and done that way. Like working to get IGN to do another review or even article on SS, would of been ages of discussion, and no action. Here, I talked to a few of my staff, and got the idea rolling the same day. So really, it honestly is kind of a waste of your time to think about it is all I'm saying. Just because you're on the council doesn't mean you would need to involve it with all of your decisions. Something like theescapist interview would've been a good thing to discuss with the council before doing (if you were on it, that is) in the very least to get some other perspectives, since it's advertising all of subspace, not just sscentral. Anyway, I guess what I'm getting at is that you seem to have a very low opinion of the council in general, and it's definitely something I wouldn't mind finding out more about. Well. I'll tell you guys he wants to do another one with me and gs, and that I got a writer for IGN a bit interested again by bringing up an idea for re-reviewing ss or giving us an article. Beyond that, I talk with Ghost, and MikeTheNose if needed. Since you guys decided the last time I said OK, i'll rejoin, that you didn't want me, I told Mike whatever bout trying to have me re-added once again. Giving away an answer I had given in the interview: "The thing I like least is that in the last few years, the centralization of the face of this game has fallen apart. Every zone has their own site, and that is fine, but none really advertise or give any help to the more generalized sites for the game. That in my opinion, has been the biggest blow to our incoming population." - Maybe that'll give some insight.

I have to say IP.Board 2.3 has grown on me. I dunno, it was too odd and bright at 1st, but it has grown on me.
