  1. Well, the biller is online and operating. At least that is 1 less thing to have to worry about getting working again once this stuff is resolved.
  2. Well, Powerball was up... but seems it caught the attention of whoever is behind this...
  3. Logged in on my old customer account and sent a heads up to Priit's host. Gave them IPs and the datacenter the servers are in; hopefully they can help begin mitigating the problem (if they haven't already). Will post if they reply anytime soon.
  4. Figured as much. My name isn't worth much in the game anymore, hah.
  5. Already got an e-mail a "Polix" is in Omega Fire... lol
  6. SS has survived this before, and will again. It is 330am for Priit, so I wouldn't expect any response for a few more hours. He always seemed to respond/act first thing in the morning (probably checks e-mails over coffee/breakfast). Until then, there are some non-ssc servers to check out. Heck, this happening 13yrs ago got enough non-ssc zones populated that SSC allowed a few more new servers to connect finally. Not that there are any major restrictions now, but people did stick around in those zones/found a new zone to play in (and yes, mine being one of them ).
  7. I think he'd want his Chat1, Chat2, Chat3, etc. to be able to be set different colors.
  8. Ignore public macros and/or no duplicate messages could be turned on. Could also be a message/flood limit set, being *sysop would override it.
  9. Snrrrub used some information on Skype to help him with Continuum, hmm...
  10. Do a bit of searching on Kevin Bermeister, BDE, and VIE and you might find some interesting things...
  11. http://www.subspace.co/files/file/6-continuum/ Give it a try, lemme know if any bugs... Updated the zone.dat and registry entry for directory servers list.
  12. I seem to be finding a lot of the files from an old archive I was sent seem to be corrupted. I've tried sorting them and testing as I can, but don't think I'm giving up on it just yet. Just trying to systematically work section by section, so should see a bunch of files no doubt once I hit some of the skins and graphics as I found a few quick zip checks there were fine.
  13. Typically this is caused by having a staff password added to your pass. I would assume since your zone here says Death Star Battle you are not staff in trench wars though, so maybe you changed your password while in trench wars and then tried to transfer to DSB? All I got.
  14. Zoomed in so might show a bit better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjDSpOU-r3A
  15. I remember a lot of oddities with windows server 2003 and 2005, so wouldn't doubt it carried over to 2008. I think it was also only the web version on 2003, don't recall which 2005 caused issues. You might start searching MGB's forums around that.
  16. I honestly think it is perfect. Not very distracting, but noticeable.
  17. Those donations covered a good part of the license renewals.
  18. $600 Another donation from Kingsley M. Thanks!
  19. I'm no longer involved in the game, so nothing I can do anyways.
  20. Yea, I was tired when I typed that, hah.
  21. Not that I have played this or anything But the only oddity I see with it is it is a circular graphic displayed in a square box, so it cuts the edges of the graphic and shows the box perimeter used to display it.
  22. It really is a struggle to reconnect names past to new users. I had the benefit of having access to a bunch of old alias databases from old zones, databases zones that have been around for a while still use, and many people actually put in legit info (though many will deny they did, no matter how much you try to tell them they really did, probably 9/10 aliases have full name and location filled out). On the last point, I still recall a guy it took me 3 weeks just to get him to give me his name, cause he SWORE he never put it in and giving it to me wouldn't help. Finally he replied with his first and last name, 2mins later he had his new password. Still swore his info wasn't on it, but thanked me for giving it back. It isn't that ops don't want to restore your name, there is just so many hoarders out there who love to stockpile aliases, and have tricked ops past more than once into giving them other player's aliases or inactive player's primary names.
  23. Thanks Sam.
  24. Not sure who Sam D. is, but thanks for the donation. Then again guess could check user e-mails
