  1. True that... we've all seen what happens... Halo anyone?
  2. I turned it off, we'll see how it goes.
  3. It takes a bit to update I think...
  4. something tells me that is going to be ugly..
  5. haha, that was fun
  6. So I finally got around to reinstalling the Arcade. I will add more games over the next few days, but I'm mostly focusing on SSCentral. I just know how much everyone loved it, and with all the recent requests for it again, I figured I'd add the old fun back again. Enjoy
  7. fits into the forum skin a bit better for the time being.
  8. I reallowed it a day or 2 ago. So it isn't just that. Note:
  9. At the moment a lot of content and the whole idea structure of the site has been planned out. A good amount of content is filled, or ready to be filled, and we just sit waiting on the design in motion. Real life has taken some time from the developers lately, but we are again back on track and full steam ahead. The nav bar has been updated a bit, although still showing some issues in FF, now a bit more noticeable. But will be fixed. It is just positioning of the drop down menus, and IPB having an effect on them for some reason... But will be fixed in due time. We will also be relaunching an old site with the new sscentral. I figure now is a good time to let Project 3 be known. Years ago there was 1 central site where you'd find most subspace squads hosted. Before SSCentral.com took on hosting many squad sites, Squad Central was the big man in town. They hosted more squad sites than anyone could ever think of, and we're really the main site you went to when looking around at squads or finding a new squad. Now a days squads either end up with domains, which with the avg life of many are a waste; or some free type of hosting that is just utterly disgusting to work with. Well, we are in the works of bringing Squad Central back with SSCentral's new launch, and more details on it will be released than. But all squads previously hosted on SSCentral.com, will soon be found again there. I also am working on a x-mas present I got bored with. After 30ish hrs of no power, when it returned, I still had no internet or cable. So I sat around looking at some old recordings I had from zones for a big past project that died off when interest was lost. And well, I'm going to compile up something. Not sure how great it is going to turn out, but it is something. More details on it later. All for now.
  10. I re-coded it all. So it is now a lot easier to add and remove zones/sites as needed. Plan to do 1 more recode when sscentral.com is done, so I can just edit it from there, and give others the power to edit/update it.
  11. A few people had asked if there was anywhere signatures we're shown in player profiles, and after a bit of looking, I found a mod to do so. Just click the signature tab, and it will display their signature.
  12. Buddy of mine had this same issue... trying to remember how we fixed it. Was just something stupid that had set itself... i'll see if he remembers.
  13. Wow, d1s is a lot younger then I thought. Could of swore he was at least my age. haha. Than again, I also thought he was a Euro.
  14. Fiiine.
  15. Well, the purpose of The Wormhole was where topics would go to die, or just be spammed or flamed to death. But it seems lately it has just pulled all discussion from General. So I have set it so that no new topics can be posted, but you can still reply, and guests can too. As you know, we've always been pretty lenient on what we move/delete/lock, so if it is going to do one of the last 2, it will be moved there instead. Rather than just locking a topic, unless requested by the topic poster, we'll just move it to The Wormhole to be continued out of site of those not wanting to see it anymore (IE: all the Halo drama stuff). Just going to be a trial to see how it works out. If all goes good, then fine. But if the Guest posting gets out of hand, or the amount of spam or trash topics in general, than we'll just work other things out. I don't see enough new threads in there that couldn't have been in general in the 1st place anyways.
  16. Well, seeing as I like HS, you're lucky they banned you 1st. I was about to just ban you from the entire forum to save them your stupid remarks.

  18. Everyone is always asked at some point "Would you die for your family?". Most say yes, but you never know if you really would, or have to face this. Well, I didn't know the guy til I recognized his commercials they we're showing, and I remembered him. http://tech.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-do!...e...21&GT1=8902 I give him major props for what he did. He risked his life to save his families and died trying.
  19. mmhmm caught you strike.
  20. Done.
  21. I love Aileron's explanation.
  22. umm, cause we never had a big influx from that really. I know you've stated you we're never around than, but in Late 2000-Early 2001, most of SSCX spent hrs in spec. The server wasn't ready for the huge influx of players it took. EG alone went from 60-250avg peak in only a matter of months. Subspace was premiered on ZDTV and it was a HUGE killer to the servers, and they were not prepared for it. So we could honestly experience the same issues if we weren't ready.
