Error: Zone cannot load AKA I can't play continuum at all
PoLiX replied to a topic in Technical Support
Well, SOS's idea will fix the run as issue. After a fresh restart, right click the icon, run as, and it should work fine. If there is 1 client open (even though it's not fully open, it is trying to run in the background), and you open another with run as, any new downloads will not be added as the user does not have permission to create new files. The reason it stops at 54% is probably the zone has lvzs (Knowing Trench Wars, yeah), and the 54% is the map. But see if you can't find any other solutions for your problems in our faq also: http://forums.sscentral.com/index.php?act=...&CODE=01&HID=17 -
Actually, if I remember right, there is a "Hey, you there?" "yes" "Here's my info" "ok thanks got it". Probably would just end up crashing or confusing the zone like I did with the biller, lol. But was just an idea that popped into my head, a doubtful one, but eh. I'm more of a web guy than a programming guy, just know my way around, so always curious to ask.

Now I know there isn't a lot of moderating needed in here, at times things can get out of control, waaay off topic, or just random crap not needed in here or belonging in other forums. The administrators can't always spend their time moderating that and cleaning it up. So asking you guys, who would want to step up and do this? And who do you guys think would be fair and self controlled enough to do so?

Not .39 full, just pr1 and pr3... PR = Pre-Release.

So today Swift returns to the good ol USA after being stuck in the middle of the desert for 1yr. Me + Him is going to be some big changes round here. More push on the current project will be the main thing. And his phone just died in the middle of us talking, hahah. Good !@#$%^&*. anyways... welcome back Joe.

hahaha, amazing.

The 1st? Try the 20th attempt at this? Time before Last even had a sweet !@#$%^&* website and forums. SSC zones just aren't that involved with each other as much anymore.

Interesting, E-Mail verification is on... and so is Number Validation at Register. So finally kills all the bots.

Probably one of the coolest videos I seen there yet. I've always been big on history, and was amazed at the stories my great grandmother would tell before she died. This is just as cool to listen to.

Oh, and I'm working on code for that image. Trying to get down the GD Library for php so I can have it automatically put the #.

I'll have TW and EG Spam the link again, and EG said they'd post it on the news next time (had zones spamming it on the last day of last month, boosted us like 100 votes). So i'll bug them later today.

Most colleges around here if you take the right classes, give you free software. It's how my buddy got Rhino for us, he was taking a class, and they gave him it free. So he let me get a copy of it too. Same with Windows XP, my bro got it from his HS class for free. Although Intel and Microsoft keep giving our HS grants for technology anyways, so I guess that would help.

I was against the War all the way. I was fine with Afghanistan, that had true reason. Yes I believed that they might have WMDs or something along those lines, but it was always known they could never reach the US. Very few countries possess any weapons that have that sort of distance. Anyone they could hurt or attack weren't really worried about it, so why should we have been? The only true thing that could affect us was Al-Qaeda, and there still hasn't been any big masses of them found in Iraq like there is in Saudi Arabia. Yet we just ignore them because they're our allies, and Iraq was not.

Saddam Hussein sentenced to Death by Hanging?
PoLiX replied to Deathboy-evil's topic in General Discussion
Well, in all honesty, to a lot of Iraq he still is. And that is where the problem lies, and once he is dead, will be the biggest problem we face. -
lol, obviously you've never been to WA. From 83-96 Highways we're 55 max. Signs everywhere. Then in 96 they raised most to 60-70 depending on the area. But most the 70s are being dropped down to 60 again. I've never seen the speedlimits West of the Mountains over 70. East is 75... I think your thinking of Montana, where the speedlimits just got recently added. I think they're 75 or 85 now. 58 in a 45 in my cutl!@#$%^&* and 73 in a 60 in my accord... Both times State Patrol, so automatically atleast a ticket for 5 over.

2009? !@#$%^&*... I was figuring 2010.

Well, I can see part of the issue. NVidia chipset motherboard with a Radeon video card. Buddy of mine tried it the other way around, and had same issues. Major FPS loss in games which caused a lot of screen lag amongst other issues. He went out and bought an ATI card, and had no issues whatsoever. Even got a cheaper one than the NVidia he had. 1st I'd goto http://www.nvidia.com and get the latest drivers for your motherboard chipset. If still having issues, if it is not only continuum, i'd try getting an nvidia video card, or borrowing one, and see if the issues go away. Also, I went through the trouble and here is a link for your Ethernet Adapter Drivers: ftp://ftp.dlink.com/NIC/dfe530tx/Driver/d...er_10152001.exe Looking now, I also see you have messenger plus running. Try closing it when you run continuum, and see if anything changes. Both of my brothers use to have issues with it and games, Continuum being one of them. Reason I've never used it myself.

I think it is about time. Things just ain't going right for us over there, and we need new ideas. He should of stepped down when we all began first noticing this wasn't going to end as quickly as thought, and no new ideas we're brought forth on how we we're going to get out.

I plan to add back in the Top Scores scroller to your posts. Just getting round to things. My paychecks have sucked lately, and it's all going to bills and my speeding ticket. So I've been spending more time around the computer than I'd like, but i'm putting it to good use by working on the sites.

I had to turn it off when I was cleaning some stuff up, but it's re-enabled now, enjoy.

3 things we could use... 1. Save that trace route and post it here. Run it for atleast 100 cycles, the more the better. 2. List the drivers it said need updating, we can help you find them. If it doesn't list them, we can recommend some to update and where to get them. 3. Wired or Wireless router?
-
Yes. I tried rebuilding them, expecting it to fix it, but no go... OH !@#$%^&*, I THINK I JUST REMEMBERED WHY! lmao. Edit: Fixed.

I find myself agreeing with Aileron on some points here, which is kind of scary. Now as I've stated before long ago, it is a family hatred of the bush family in my case. My grandfather's family grew up living near the Bush family, and watched what they did to the people around them, and the town itself. So I always grew up hearing how bad that family was. But putting that aside. I'd honestly say some parts of Bush's cabinet have done the best that they could under the cir!@#$%^&*stances. Others, are just not holding up, and yet continue to be allowed to not hold up. To this day, I can not say I have ever heard nor seen a true solid plan for us finally getting out of Iraq. Rumsfield (sp?) just can't seem to ever give a straight answer, and their last timeline seems to have fallen apart. Iraq is considered by many on the brink of chaos, and we keep our men over there going through !@#$%^&*. Yes, some are there by choice, and want to be. Others think what we are doing are wrong, but feel it is their duty to serve their country. I mean, how can you fight full heartedly if you feel what is going on is endless, and is not the right solution. The only solution with that area, is to let it be. It has been war struck land for as long as history writes, and will continue to be so for years to come. I don't see why this administration thinks it is going to do something noone has ever been able to do, and settle everything. Yes, someone has to try, but it's going to take far too many years if we do it alone as we really have been now. I agree we can't just say !@#$%^&* it, and pull out, we've made too big of a mess to do that now. But we need to try to work with other countries more and try to get more support in that area. Until man steps above religion, there is no way to make permanent peace in the middle east. We may accomplish getting Iraq settled, but there is going to always be conflicts in the country, and between other countries around it. So we're now permanently involved, and have made Iraq our little step child who we have to take care of to keep the rest of the world happy, and them safe.

i'll think about it. A lot of people I know have multiple squads in multiple zones. Increased size, No. I explained this to you why. 2nd nick, maybe... I'm currently working elsewhere in the forum. Currently under work. As I said, Jan 1st is my goal for launch. Just gotta get where I'm able to talk to Bajan again, and get things rolling.
