I'm starting to do more and more reading through C# and getting an understanding of it. But debating making a dir in either that or good ol VB. Want to make it so I can manually add zones to it as needed to get it started until more zones add it to their inis. I'm gonna wait for Altec to get on and see if any other ideas or anything comes up. But for now I wanted to get the domain added, as I can point it to any server or dir server as needed.

zones.sscentral.com is up. Gonna work on getting zones to add it. If anyone else is going to set one up, lemme know so I can try to get it added at same time.

Me and Altec have talked about possibly putting one up. zones.sscentral.com will probably be redirected at it, so it can be used by name instead of ip.

I say once it goes trash, split off the trash. That is what I had been doing, except for I was just deleting the trash, but now can be moved to Trash Talk forum.

He was just joking that the forum is trying to tell him that what he is typing has no contributive value to it, lol.

How it is right now is how it will stay. We're just trying some different things out to see if anything else worked to our liking. But nothing really set there, and none of the new forums really got any posts. So rather just focus it all in General.

Only if they remove the zones from their list when they download the game. SSCX had the problem once before, not seems it is happenin again. I can't remember if it was somethin about the namep!@#$%^&*word, or the dir server self blocked the ip. But yeah, been like that for probably goin on 6 days now.

There was a discussion the other day in eg by some ex-abyss players by how cool it'd be to see the zone again. Well, this carried onto another chat, and eventually I said I had nothin better to do, an server, and the slot for the zone, so meh, why not put it up for a bit to play in. So here it is... Alive and Kicking. SSCW The Abyss Probably just run it for a short time for the oldies ot play in and enjoy again. If it takes off big, who knows, maybe we'll update, and run it. But if your an old fan, or curious about this old zone, check it out!

We deleted the zone redirects. They we're on the drop menu for forum navigation, but now they're on the bar up top, no difference. Unless you we're on of the ones that browsed into the Redirects Forum > SSC > Zone or Redirect Forum > Non-SSC Forum > Zone. I'm not having zone redirects on the front, only in a subforum like so. So in other words, honestly, no need for them.

Well, the 2 I posted I added. Put Subspace Council for 1, and Priit for the other.

Only downside, ssdir.playsubspace.com seems to be using cat's biller, or a biller of the same idea. So when sscentral.sscuservers.net is down, it won't pick up any new/down zones. And after a bit, will not even work at all when it doesn't get updates for so long, it always seems to crash, if it is cat's that is. Need to have another site setup another one of PriitK's directory servers, and get it into the default server.ini. Only way to have a 100% for sure backup, or alternative.

421M / 4964M 2.5GB of ram helps...

I was laughin from the get go... so pointlessly stupid it's funny.

Once IE7 is fully released, I'll go back to it. Tabbed browsing, and just the look of FF is what brought me to it. Also some of the extensions I find nice. Wish IE allowed those.

1. Is no settings for a jackpot turf game. Just how many points owning a flag gives. 2. Set the Soccer: CapturePoints to 0, Soccer: CatchMinimum to 0, Soccer: CatchPoints to 0, and Soccer: Winby to 0 | this will disable the soccer game. 3. Territory is used for the Turf Game settings for points and such. 4. To do as you want, would require a bot or ASSS module.

Eh, things just felt too spread out seperated. I know what Apache is trying to say, and i'm not sure... Like it could work out, cause it's how ForumHQ did it for years, but it could just make things harder to navigate and all.
