Yeah I noticed that. Also: added a teamspeak server. Server: theAphelion.com I feel like allowing people to come on and discuss things would make a lot more highlight for problems that i havent seen yet, or just ideas to work with.

Okay so due to the overwhelming amount of people who want me to open source it now instead of later, yes. Yes I will do this, but it cant be instantanious, because i will need help (jowie) to get our current repo to this state. sometime whenever he gets around.

I'm starting to get into that phase right now where I feel like I cannot provide enough to satisfy my perspective on what I want this game to look like and reperesent. Even though this game IS indeed a replication of subspace, I still want to bring this further and craft / mold it into my own. I need to get over the fact that I only have so much, and can only do so much, with the help of JoWie. I am considering letting another developer join in on the project, however i feel that opening the source too soon will result in stagnation of the project. I feel that that decision will reflect on the success of the development well, being that so many coders on one project would be come a catastrophe for the stability of the code. I really want a optimized engine in the end. JoWie is a great networking coder, so I am sure that this portion of the client will be satisfied. The only true parts that I care about getting in good hands is physics accuracy. Also, I feel that I need to either get better at modeling, or find someone to outsource, and may end up paying for modeling. I want to provide so much for the models, yet I am still a inferior modeler myself, but atleast it is something for now.

This is a tool that allows you to specify 2 coordinates on a lvl, exporting the segment of the map as a Image. This can be used in LVZ. Range for coordinates goes from 0-1023 (not 1-1024). The tiles ignored are anything beyond 190, the flag, door, and goal tiles. All else is rendered out. Coded in Java, and ran via Batch. -

Not even sure why we need a billing, besides names. There should be a better system for zone finding when Aphelion is at a equivilant stage

I will eventually explain more about the single player storyline, but i will say right now it involves a prototype lancaster, which i had named 'Grendel' for reasons that is a compound ship, made of parts for experimentation.

We could probably do something with infantry in the future for things inside Aphelion. Aphelion will be open sourced on completion, btw. Also, I have the tools "BLOB EDITOR" and such if you guys ever wanted to modify CR/ Infantry files.

The lighting happens around blocks i say. a sphere of light is made from radius outward based on location (a gradient) and the rgb values are placed on the map added to the ones already existing.
