Bullshit. The population was still decent even after the deviation from the classic settings, but the sets kept changing even more over and over. This is basic causality.

Never-ending debate my ass. When the old sets were up the zone was full, and when they were fucked with over and over, the zone emptied out COMPLETELY. It couldn't be more obvious.

I'm up for playing some lately, but only with the old map, old sets (slow one-hit-kill weasel).

IIRC, when I made that skin, I was forced to omit frames because the number of coords or whatever you can use in the configuration file had a cap. I think Mr Ekted said he might make it possible to have more in the future, but I haven't kept track.

Yeah a bit after posting Makaveli told me he's running the zone now. So, I guess the post wasn't as nice as it could've been, but who knows. I was rather expecting a new head sysop to just put up what's in ?go oldmap2 and let the good old times fade back in, but that's apparently not his plan... Also, Mike, wtf just relinquish ownership - what have you had to do with the zone in ages?

After burying a zone and not even idling in spec anymore, plotting your burying plots, the least you could do is resign and give your powers to someone else.

It all started with the weasel. The zone was popular and fun, so naturally those in power decided the best course of action would be to systematically !@#$%^&* up every aspect of it.

Might take some polls like: 'if the convention were at... * east coast usa * west coast usa * europe * east asia * costa rica ...would you go?' Then you could make an informed decision as to which location most people would go to.
