Was there anything really important kept there, anyway? It's been used for next to nothing since it was started. P.S. It'd be bad for you if they stuck in some exploit code that compromised your system. I'd recommend not checking it out, or going in with everything (even images) disabled/blocked if you really must.

Corners doesn't just keep download size down it lets the field size be modifiable without changing the graphics.

What is possible though is Energy Scanner Blocker though. Seems too meta to be worth much as an item. Maybe for kicks, using a decoy could disable you broadcasting your own energy for x seconds, that's certainly possible though I don't know the interface well enough to know how much work that is.

How can anyone think it's a good idea to tell other people when to stop having fun playing the game? If DSB was a graveyard it'd be one thing, but it's not. If you want to stop hosting a server, or stop administrating, that's fine. Don't submit to defeat and assume your zone will never grow and thrive (more than it already is, sheesh) again. It might not, but it certainly won't if you don't give someone the chance to try.

I don't automatically assume it's dumber than dirt. I make that conclusion after reading it. But seriously, I don't know the status of the team evener, I was unable to use my ideas for that one, so I haven't been paying attention anymore. Either way, that has nothing to do with base-bounty (which is push-button-winning for the reasons stated above.) You have a legitimate point about negative-factors getting in on the reward, but they could do that under any system anyway, so that is also irrelevant to this particular side-discussion.
