I was having a little discussion with cxc about FTL items. Dilithium is a signature FTL, and it allows you to move by like... 2 inches. Transwarp key is not a signature, yet it allows you to move instantly anywhere, while not being affected by antiwarp... Antiwarp should block all forms of warp, especially transWARP. It also has a cooldown of ... 3 seconds or something. My suggestion: Either make tw key affected by antiwarp and increase its cooldown, or make it a sig somehow. Another suggestion: Jump engines should probably not be affected by antiwarp. It's the only way to counter gate-blocking, and it's pretty much the only thing it can do. I really doubt they would become overpowered in any way. Plus, jump engines doesn't have "warp" in its name

Rad coils is still a signature item with the only purpose of protecting against bursts... Let's not nerf it too much

A bunch of modules seem to not be loaded at the moment... Anything with fake attaching players doesn't work (turrets, extra weapon) The powerball goals don't do anything ... Who knows what else isn't working right Edit: Whatever module handles the cloaking / xradar stuff is not working either. Cloak doesn't give you stealth, and xradar works like in a normal zone, i.e. client shows you cloakers instantly.

When responsible of a zone, it's impossible to please everyone. People complain about something... you change it, people complain that you changed it. There's also the old farts who keep talking about how everything was better before, yet even if you put back older settings or features, you still get complaints. There's just no way to win, really... It gets to a point where you just have to ignore most feedback and just... do your thing.

3.4.16 sounds good... just open the current hs map and you'll have the tileset, you can even export it if you want to use it in your own map. You'll find the map in your Continuum/zones/SSCE Hyperspace directory

"easily" ... sure... Just understanding the whole thing isn't easy @omnomnom This looks like a Dungeons & Dragons thing, with all the random percentages and complicated stats...

Updates unrestricted flag freqs and rare item drops.
Samapico replied to spittnacid's topic in Hyperspace
When you kill someone, you get a green. That's an item drop. Also, devs can't just hire more devs like that... there aren't many people who do ASSS dev in the first place.- 9 replies

Increasing the speed of the repels doesn't help in any way against thors, so it doesn't justify making thors cheaper in any way. If you increase the radius of the repels, that's a different story.

Even I was able to get a security.so working for a 64 bit ASSS It wasn't easy to find, but someone had it laying around.

Lanc's roll would be a 5MB download, and a 13426 KB bitmap in memory. 13 Megs won't kill your average 2 to 4 GB RAM machine...

No, it's more like making a reservation for 20 people on a busy night, and arriving alone, while a bunch of people are waiting in line at the entrance. It's also simply stupid and a waste of time, but that's my opinion, I guess.

SSDL had a couple of files that was detected as false positive by some antivirus, yes... But just so you know, even if you download a virus, you can't get infected until the file is actually executed. I don't think I still have the files to seed this, sorry

Just installed chrome on my Android, since I got the ICS update... the graphics load fine
-
Meh... chrome requires Android 4.0 Anyone knows if/how I can update my Samsung Galaxy SII X with something better than 2.3.5 Woot nevermind, just checked Telus website, and the update is available since like.. 2 months ago.

well, if you build it, and you get no build errors, you get a Discretion.exe somewhere... if it's not in bin, it ended up somewhere else. If it's nowhere, the project didn't build (or link) properly

What would be missing for this to work on Android and other mobile platforms?

And whenever there are changes in the items, you have to release an update?
-
Show screenshots?

I read quickly... but you can charge utilities with stealth on until almost full when you're idle, turn stealth off. Then you just need to use stealth for a second or two to get the full charge when needed, and you can release it whenever you want.
