Your post make it seem as if many people said 'OMG SSC WILL CRASH IF TOO MANY PEOPLE', when in fact it's just the discussion leading to 'It happened before, just make sure that the servers (not SSC) are ready)' As for Steam and whatever, I think we need to have some kind of control over the client to do anything like that in the first place. And as it is, only Priitk has control over the client.

I do think 'official' sites or links should say '!@#$%^&*S', as it's the official name. ASSS is just an abbreviated acronym; it's fine when you talk about it or whatever, but it's best for official links to say ASSS imo.

I suggest: Once you have your zone list right, close continuum, and go in your Continuum folder, make a copy of the files 'zones.dat' and 'profiles.dat' under another name If something goes wrong, just delete the bugged zones.dat or profiles.dat file, and rename your backup copy

If I only knew what a scene graph was...

I was planning to remove the 'Test Map' feature from DCME, and provide an external EXE to do the job instead. The EXE would be started up, possibly with an argument telling it which .lvl file to load. So I was wondering if it would be possible to do a lightweight version of Discretion for that purpose? I'm not asking you guys to do any of it, I just want to know if it's something that could be done in less time than re-coding one; and if Discretion is in such a state that it could work, preferably with LVZ's and subgame-style .cfg settings. Thanks
