  1. Cool... Now you can just right-click on an image in the LVZ tileset, and hit 'Edit' and it will bring up your favorite image editor Just have to fix some bug when changing the size of the image...
  2. Works fine
  3. These things are brutal!
  4. Office prank gone wrong ... and... Ron Paul stuff... wtf
  5. I meant like, all the zooming and clicking around. It looks very fancy, but most of that eye-candy is not because of windows
  6. Oh, how awesome, you can make photos wiggle around. Most of the video is just features of Google Earth or whatever that program is. The rest is just what anyone can do with a standard touchscreen. Only thing you can do with 2 fingers at a time is... zoom (wow, yay), and play piano
  7. What I'll probably do is allow the user to edit the image in whatever program he has installed. So it would still open Paint, for example, but you'd just have to click a button, and then save it back and it would update in DCME.

  9. Obviously not, reality isn't fun.. omg lol just as I said this, a car nearly got hit by a fire truck outside lol. Ok I might be exagerating; I just heard tires screeching while a fire truck was passing by. But still, reality sucks, see, cause people are currently burning in a building.
  10. So for the purpose of this thread, when 2 people have sex with a condom, 99.999% of the times the girl will get pregnant?
  11. Topic, please stop the racism :'(
  12. Carc!@#$%^&* is good
  13. Yeah... We could sticky something here to get people to test it And then, when it's tested, Ace can put it on getcontinuum, and polix probably can put it on ssdl
  14. I know, that's why I told him to re-read it carefully...
  15. It's not about the time to install it... it's just that installing and uninstalling 10 programs a day is not the best thing to do to a computer
  16. I'm searching for something that would allow me to do something like... Right-click an image file, and have it uploaded somewhere so I can post it on forums and such. Picasa seems to be doing pretty much that... But I don't want to install it just to realize it doesn't do what I want. So did any of you ever use it? Or do you know of any similar programs that could do that? Also just figured it would be !@#$%^&* nice if I could quickly save or edit screenshots by skipping the step of starting paint shop pro and pasting... I think I'm gonna make a small program that pops a 'Save' or 'Edit' dialog, and directly save the content of the clipboard to a file. I could have it started with Win-V or something. I already have AutoHotkey to make the hotkey shortcut... mhhmm
  17. There's an 'Open' icon just above it, use that to load any image you want, then you can drag parts of it on your tileset. That is NOT done with Subspace TileEditor or TileEdit, do that with the one built-in DCME, CTRL-E Here,s another example. I saved this image on my computer, and loaded it as a 'Source image' in DCME's tileset editor, then I took a part of it and dragged it on my tileset: http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/2893/tileseteditorea8.png
  18. Yeah... it's on its final miles
  19. Read what he said after the first line, it describes how to change your tileset and import images from other files in your tileset. There's another thing, however, called LVZ's, that allow you to put images of any size on the map. These can also be animated. Just download the latest beta version. Over the tileset, you'll see a "LVZ" tab, go there. Right-click in the area and add an image. There you can import an image in the LVZ library, and then you can select it like a tile, and draw with it. Note that these are just images, they are NOT tiles. If you want them to appear solid, you'll have to draw solid tiles under them.
  20. I just put up 3.4.03 up, with that fix And you can try out the lvz selection Selection rectangles don't work yet, but you can click on objects to select them; only way to unselect them now is to click in empty space Also, you can have a first look at the way it handles the Image Editor... though it might not even work, I was in the middle of doing stuff in there

  22. The buggy tile editor is now removed of DCME altogether. The Tileset Editor stays, of course, but when you'll click on 'Edit Tile', it will bring up whatever program is !@#$%^&*ociated with bmp files on your system for you to edit it. For now, DCME resumes when the application is closed. But I'm trying to get it to detect when the file is modified as well, so for big applications like Photoshop, only saving and closing the image would be enough for DCME, instead of having to close Photoshop completely. That change removed about 2500 lines of code, and reduced the exe filesize from 4.4MB to 4.0MB. (Not that that was a reason to do it, I'm just saying...) Also, with that, it will eventually be possible to edit images inside your lvz's pretty easily To avoid some people being stuck with the 'Picture Preview' thing of XP, since that is what bitmap files are !@#$%^&*ociated to by default, I have to use the 'Edit' s!@#$%^&* thingy. And I was curious if you guys right-click a .bmp, and hit Edit, does your favorite image editor appears, or is it sucky ms paint? I'm guessing big editors like Photoshop have changed that !@#$%^&*ociation, but I'm curious if it works for any of them? GIMP for example? I have paint shop pro 7, and Edit brings up MS Paint... Though I admit I screwed around a lot with file !@#$%^&*ociations and some registry stuff, so that might be my fault. on a side note, the code is approaching revision 666
  23. Yeah, I lol'ed at that too
