  1. LOL @ Avery What a dumbass
  2. Yup... can't do much about that.
  3. according to their site, they factor in more than windchill... I lol'ed at that too hahaha I don't see what more they could factor in than humidity and wind... By the way, that usually applies to bare skin... wind doesn't change anything on what you feel if you have a proper suit on
  4. Currently 2 Celsius Tomorrow, -4 to 2 Friday, -9 to -5
  5. ugly Click here for teh ugliness --Click here to view--http://sloths.us/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/sloth_in_a_box.jpg
  6. lol. If you don't click to enlarge it it looks like you've left it on table for a few months :/
  7. Not that I'm a hunter, but I think hunting is a very natural way of getting food. I mean, we're at the top of the food chain or not? I think it's better to hunt for food yourself than to buy steaks made with farmed animals who live in very poor conditions It's also perfectly normal for the animal to defend itself
  8. looks good very minor annoyance my eyes just noticed the 'Poll' part... it's like a table, but I see kind of edges around each 'cell'. Chrome and IE7 ... or wait I think I have IE8beta ... anyway, both showed that. Yeah... I think I downloaded IE8 beta a while ago, but I don't use it at all, except for Office Live, which doesn't work with Chrome (not because it doesn't work, but because Office Live says it doesn't work... I hate that... it should at least... TRY... and if it doesn't work we'll see...). Not that I use Office Live usually, our team in a project at school just happens to use it to keep our files up to date. So, basically, all the browsers I have installed on my computer are beta versions...
  9. I won't... too lazy But I did get my revenge on you Audry... I ate some pizza! HAH
  10. I just changed the existing 'Known bugs' topic to a more useful FAQ topic; which should eventually contain tips, how to use some tools and such, and any known weird behavior (i.e. blank screen / autoredraw issue) Link: http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic=10661 If you have ideas of questions that should be there, or if you want to add an answer to an unanswered question, you can post in that topic and I'll merge the info in the main post I think I'll upload the image of each toolbar button on the site so we can use them in FAQs and such (i.e. "Select the 'Line' tool ")
  11. Done And check the new FAQ (used to be 'Known issues')... Had to make a new sexy spoiler2 tag for it It just needs to be filled now
  12. I could certainly dig up several logs incriminating Jabx3 being involved in sexual activity with DCME
  13. Rofl, giant Rickroll
  14. not fixed yet, final exams coming soon so it will be on standby for a week or so
  15. it's user friendly for people who know the structure of lvz's, otherwise, not that much For someone who just wants to put an image on the map, doing it in a few clicks with Add Image... seems easier. It creates the LVZ, imports the file, and creates an image definition with the file. All these 3 things are done together 99% of the time, so doing them that way is quicker than with the manager I thought about some different structure though... One where everything would be in the same list Lvz1 |-- + Files |-- + Images |-- - Map objects |----- + Selected objects |----- somepic.bmp, 8750, 9000, AfterTiles |-- + Screen objects Lvz2 ... But either way, we'd need to make a whole new custom control for that, because the standard list control we use simply cannot be used with a few thousand map objects (which is seen often)
  16. crappy it is, user-friendly-wise; very efficient as in being able to do anything though and I take blame for it too
  17. Actually, it 'should' be technically possible to put an image file in one LVZ, while putting image definitions in another. That's something that works for Continuum. However, I must admit I never really tested it; I would have thought it only said something like "image not found" Oh well
  18. sigh.. no.. but he has been in a few films and directed and starred in 2 of his own. go check IMDB cool... cool... Sorry that my question sounded like I was trying to put him down or something, wasn't my intention (was tired, as Polix said ), and that answered my question
  19. http://dcme.sscentral.com/download/stable/DCME_3.4.10.zip -ASSS Regions list now shows 20 items, and the scrollbar is easier to work with as well -Fixed a bug that rendered the quick 'Add Image...' lvz feature not working (it caused a division by 0 in some cases) -Added textboxes for X and Y properties of selected map objects Sketter's testing this at the moment, and he'll probably dig up a dozen bugs by tomorrow, so I'll go to sleep and fix those later for a next release soon small stuff to fix already: -Moving a selected LVZ, X and Y properties don't update in real-time -Can't seem to be able to change the X/Y from the textboxes...
  20. As I explained to Sketter... The current "LVZ Manager" window is very inefficient if your map has a few thousands of map objects. The listboxes controls in there are awfully slow and it freezes DCME for a while everytime they refresh if you have a lot of objects. I even had to set a maximum; I think over 3000 objects it stops displaying them completely with a message like "too many objects to list" I'm fixing the Add Image... thing right now And when I get some time to put a finishing touch, there will be a LVZ menu with all you need
  21. Holy crap... No one told me that before? Everyone is still using that old crappy LVZ Manager? bleh

  23. LVZ's are pretty simple, really... Go in the LVZ Library tab above the tileset, right-click in there, Add Image... Import whatever image you want, define its animation properties, Add Then you draw with it
