  4. actually, it depends. older machines more clumped tiles will cause the player to lag, as continuum and subspace didn't pre-render the soon to be seen map, so it has to redraw it each time (if i understood jeff p's notes, and what mr ekted had been talking ot him about)... yeah anywho, meh, anywho
  5. solution: toggle of show ur current balance on kills ez! haha.. or yeah I think I had that suggestion of alert amounts, w/e, but I'd like to see the balance occasionally, instead of wasting a macro space for ?money and doing it after each kill :/
  6. I've given you several suggestions but here are the ones off the top of my head: A better/nicer kill message: perhaps something along the lines of: Killed: , bounty: #. cash: $#. Balance: $#. - Or something that tells you you're current balance. A formal help system, what does each object do for your ship, when it might expire, how much you'll get back if you sell it. Post rules for the zone somewhere o.o 12 secs for ball holding time seems a tad meh for such a huge 'hyperspace', maybe extend it to something a tad longer, 20-25? hm thats all i can think of have fun.

  10. You will want to possibly update your *resolution* drivers, or get a new graphics card. Those would be my guesses . Have a nice day.
  11. Priit ala "PriitK" - developer of Continuum has not released the source code to the Continuum Client. However, with the development of ASSS several developers have been working on different variations of the game. There is, snrrrrubspace which supposively runs on linux (i couldn't get it to work :/ meh go figure lol), I guess there is a Mac/Windows release being worked on, details on forums.minegoboom.com; and finally the other client that was released here on these forums, which I have issues of the collision detection being messed up as I hit the wall I get stuck in it or even p!@#$%^&* through em o.o fun stuff; several clients under way to help out the independent development aspect of the game, but we'll see how far anyone gets
  12. Nice, you took my suggestion :D * MaxConnectionTries variable in MERVBot.INI to prevent login retry floods. Along with this is: ASSS support. There is a Debug version of bot core included, which turns off this exception handling for the benefit of plugin developers. The tutorial source has been updated. (C++ source)

  17. I understand what you mean, but more than likely this will not be implemented as the squad's are already listed by a player, in a window. I personally wouldn't gain any use of it other than making the F2 window wider for showing player/teams :/
