  1. He told me in game he was lagging and had a trace and it was either email or SSF, so SSF is easier. As for the problem... He keeps getting specced in HZ with ping fluctuation of 26 over the limit of 25, but that happens a lot. It doesn't appear to be anything he can fix.
  2. What's the problem? You aren't lagging at all.
  3. It was working earlier today.
  4. Same. Glad to see it back up and running.
  5. It was addicting at first, but it died off.
  6. www.shanky.com/server Has a guide on how to configure the server. It's quite simple and shouldn't take you longer than 10 minutes.
  7. PM BlueGoku. He usually helps me with those.
  8. What type of connection are you using? Also, packetloss on the first hop usually means an internal problem, being router or modem. I suggest contacting your ISP.
  9. Let me have a 56k flashback. If I went into an area with a bunch of people or a bunch of stuff going on, it would lag so bad, which fully explains his problem in HS. HZ is a 6v6 game at the most, so his lag should be fine.
  10. HS and HZ have the same lag limits. I doubt there is anything you can do about it.
  11. I sent you a PM.
  12. That happens to me sometimes when my modem is re!@#$%^&*ed. The zones will be green and I can connect, but when I get there, I can't talk. It's like a massive spike and after about 5 minutes, it sends all my messages at the same time and I get disconnected. Trace looks exactly like that when it happens. Have you tried the obvious and reset your modem/router? Unless you're at a University or some place with blocked ports, like root said.
  13. Maybe this game will be a huge hit and players will accidentally download Continuum and we'll get more players!
  14. Ok... It has to be an ISP problem.

    Did you watch 8 Mile?
  16. I have a league match at 3:30pm that day. PM me sometime and I'll drop by.. I have a bad memory.
  17. Nothing on your end. Seems like it could be a location problem. I pinged the first server you get lag from and it seems fine. Where are you located? There was a recent server change in Hyperspace which could have led to your lag.
  18. I have a few hops that are exactly like that, root. Something like 3 in a row with massive packetloss, yet I don't lag. They may or may not be the problem, but it's certain that there shouldn't be any packetloss coming before those. GhostyFish, can you post a trace to DSB with 50 or more cycles, and also to another zone with 50 or more cycles? It will help better determine the problem.
  19. Check with your ISP. Seems there are some problems at 172.17.169.92 accessl2-los-A5.net.aol.com. You can call them or check their website support, if they have it.
  20. I had a similar problem with Xbox Live. They were supposed to cancel the account and refund the money they charged, but they didn't. I just called them back and they refunded it. Syrus is right, though. There's no way they will give you a refund unless you send back the charger which, might I add, would defeat the entire purpose. Am I missing your problem here?
  21. He doesn't seem like the brightest crayon in the box. Could just be a language issue, who knows. http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/7086/23507520cq3.png Let it go to 50ish cycles and click export. Save it and post it here.
  22. First hop looks sort of weird.. but I doubt it's causing any problems. Can you run a trace to another zone not on SSCU?
  23. Seems like there is a firewall on your account which doesn't allow for Continuum to access the Internet. Just go into the firewall settings on your account and add Continuum.exe (C:\Program Files\Continuum\Continuum.exe) to the exceptions list. It _may_ be Windows Firewall, but since you didn't list whichever one it is that you have, I can't give specific instructions.
  24. 5-10 minutes is quite a long boot time. Might wanna try removing some of those programs from your startup.
