Hm.. Video card error. Do you have Vista drivers for your video card installed on your PC? Do you have DirectDraw enabled? (Start - Run - dxdiag - Display) Is your card even Vista compatible?
That's too many cycles! It looks fine.. and root, there's no router there. I couldn't help you on MG forum, Shino.. I still have no idea. Maybe someone else will know.
It could just be your system dude. I've never heard of an Xbox 360 scratching a CD to a point where it doesn't work anymore. I highly doubt they take each returned game and put it into a system to see if it works. It probably won't catch back up with you unless someone else has problems with the same disc, in which they trace it back to you.. but you could claim it worked fine for you and the person currently having problems with it is the person that damaged it. A fool proof plan. $ EDIT: What game was it?
So what exactly happened? You got it and it DID work, then it quit working? Did you report to Gamefly that it doesn't work, or did they contact YOU about it? I'd hope you didn't tattle on yourself.. I mean, you'd have to be a complete idiot, but I had to ask.
Does the disc still work? Disc read errors in 360's are mostly related to the 360's laser, not the disc. If that was your problem, I suggest you get a lens cleaning CD and run it through your system. It doesn't make sense that the place you rented from would charge you for the game if it still works.
I hardly ever hear people complain, but there is a rare event that they do. When they lagcheck me, they see my high and automatically point blame to it, whether it was the cause or not. Just looking for a little bit of closure here.
