Why not do something like reset the player with AD as soon as they die, but also give them a shutdown (that slightly shorter than the respawn time) so they can't move around so much.

Random bits of input: -Less is better. Lots of those designs have a TON going on, to the point where it's somewhat detrimental to the design. -Sig is huge. Yes, I know everyone likes to take pride in their work, but your handle is massive on those designs. -Beveled fonts rarely look good. -"KustomiZe"? Come on, now. Not only is the name horribly cliched, but the letter swaps you're using haven't been cool since the mid 90's when Midway released Mortal Kombat (and even that's debatable). Those hand drawn designs are impressive. Personally though, I would stay away from any copyrighted material when you're talking about making money. In the event this venture of yours takes off, you don't want to have some scrubby lawyer try to claim some chunk of your cash because of a design you used as you were starting up.

It's the only point(s) of reference they have for people who represent "power" in this game, aside from the well knowns who are already in such positions. Not only that, but MG is now in need of someone for SSC representation, so I think people are just !@#$%^&*uming that the two "positions" go hand in hand (which, they don't). Personally, I think Freakmonger can and will get it, as he's not only worked with GS directly, but is well established and well liked in a few relatively large zones. As far as the popularity contest angle goes, that will go a long way. Also, while we're at this whole restructuring thing, [insert obligatory deathplus removal reference here].

This post has lots of whining and other forms of wasted bandwidth and database space. (ie: that massive advent children sig). I don't know anything about DS or it's staff, but I do know this: Jeri's quotes on ssquotes are unfunny cliched bits of dog!@#$%^&*. The jack!@#$%^&*es that keep voting them up should run around the Bronx at midnight yelling "I HATE ASSS".

One thing you should do differently (vs Continuum): Don't reload all graphics when the game window regains focus. You can probably figure out a work around for why I think it's a problem, but it's generally a useless function anyway. In MG, there's about 4.6mb worth of media for the public arena. When a player goes to change a song or something stupid that requires minimizing the game, when they go back they almost always trigger the arena's spike detection due to the time spent reloading the images/sounds. Now, I could remove the lag settings (but, I won't), or I could attempt to educate players as to what's happening. Really, the only people who make use of this "feature" are those who edit images and sounds for their zone. Everyone else doesn't even know it's there, but still suffer from the negative effects. ...aww !@#$%^&*. I had more, but I forgot it all while writing that rant. Oh well.
