Changing the extension should not have to be the only answer. As others said, continuum interprets pure black(0,0,0 red/green/blue values) as transparent. So all the repel, ships, and w/e images have black backgrounds so they are transpartent in game. If they see black around something it is cuz the background in ur image is not 0,0,0 black, its a slightly lighter color, a very very very dark gray. In most graphic programs you should be able to select all of that color in the image, and then change it to a true black. The extension just rounds the colors a lil in different directions, so make sure after you save it however you want, that the background is 0,0,0 and if not, make it that. The reason some ppl may see it and other don't depends on whether their playing with 8,16,or 32bit color. Thats becuz the depth they are viewing in is different then your images color depth, and again it has to round it.

I could try and make large arguments, but im just gonna make short statements cuz im getting bored of arguing on several of these topics. 1) Many people see christianity as a set of rules, or "How to live." I will say, the majority of american high schoolers only put in what they need to get the A or B. I do homework when I know the teacher is checking it for a grade, I only leard how to do the things I know will have questions on the quiz, etc. I think one of the problems is lack of incentive. Some people just feel like the only point of high school is to put on a good game face for college. Its like... If you can do just a little work and still get A's and B's, then why do a ton of work, and still get A's and B's... know what i mean?

Yea and theres really nothing wrong with a more wellknown person's death getting more media attention then a less known person. BECAUSE, the guy is WELL KNOWN. You people keep saying you only wanna hear abotu deaths you care about. The fact that he is "well known" means that theres more ppl out there that care about him, so its worth giving his death attention.

JDS you are seriously an !@#$%^&*. Yea and something is fishy about the whole thing. I mean obviously it was an intentional "hit" or murder or w/e u wanna call it. A robber does not purposefully come to the bedroom and start shooting. The fact that the police have not made any statements saying anything besides its a possible burglary makes be wonder wat else is going on. Also they say they have no suspect description at this point because the girlfriend was hiding under the sheets. Now imagine this, your sean taylor, you get shot, your bleeding. Before the ambulance came, do you think he just was quiet and didn't tell his gf what he knew or suspected or why someone could have been after him? I think its a good guess to bet there was history behind the murder, something Taylor knew about or could have suspected, and for the girlfriend not to have any data from him from after the shot and before the coma, seems wrong. I almost feel like they are purposefully hiding something from the public.

Redskins free safety Sean Taylor died this morning after being in a coma since early Monday. Around 1am Monday he was shot in his upper thigh by an intruder in his house. His girlfriend and 1year old daughter were uninjured, but he was listed in critical condition due to blood loss from having his femoral artery severed by the shot. I can't believe we're arguing this astro. According to dicionaries some indicates a undetermined number of things. A group of unspecified size. If i say there are some lazy people, I am saying there exists people who are lazy. I said multiple times that this group is not the majority. So I said there is some minority who is lazy. By saying there isnt some, you are denying the existence of that group, since some indicates there is a group that is lazy.

I don't think we've yet to address this, which is odd. If you all say homosexuality is so natural, why can't we produce offspring that way? That fact that we need a man and women to create a child seems to scream natural and normal to me...

Soem refers to a group of people. A number, a defined amount, usually small. I could say "Some people at my school.." and be reffering to only 2 people, it can be miniscule. Sayign there are not some people that are lazy, is saying there is no one lazy lol.

You say none are lazy, but only a few are. Then you continue to justify your statement that the majority works hard. Why are you still backing that up? I agreed to that, two or three times already. Then you say "You make it out as if there's a large population of immigrants coming to America that are lazy good for nothings." Do you read my posts? I have continually said that the majority is good, but there are still some (if i said majority already, then some must be refering to the remaining smaller minority) who aren't. I'm not the one who needs touch up on logic.

I have begun to notice that teh cry for proof is somewhat onesided. Astro you and the others on your side of the debates tend to demand proof way more than nbv, myself, our our side demands it. It's not a one way thing. It's not like you are defending an established fact, and asking for proof that contradicts it. You are saying debatable stuff to, and usually not providing proof. So, yes i understand you (and nbv and myself) dont wanna go write a friggin research paper to post on an online forum for a 2d space game, but don't try to condemn us for not providing proof when you don't provide much either.

And even if you make an argument that they are, are we telling them we will give the rights back if they become christian? NO, so wtf... The only possibly thing that I think you might be thinking of is a "right to go to heaven." Well they are doing that to us to, they are sayign we're not going to heaven unless we're muslim.

Sigh, why do i even bother. As to the difference of homosexual parents and divorced parents, I think you were missing what I meant to say. I was saying, SOME of the negative influence of divorce, at least in SOME cases, comes from the lack of one of the genders of parents being active in the childs life. Sure trauma effects the child, maybe moving from parent to parent affects the child, but one of the factors, at least in some cases that causes negative affects for the child is a lack of a father or mother figure. All im saying is that for a kid who has two fathers, he obviously has teh same lack of a mother figure. I'm not saying he CANT GROW UP WELL then, I'm sure theres plenty of homosexual parents who could raise a child well, but I think that not having one of the gender-based parental figures can cause some problems.

Not all divorced parents split time with the kids. Often they never deal with one of the parents again. You really havn't heard of research showing people without one of their parent figures have a harder time in life? As to backing up statments with proof, it wasn't my statement about the development of children, it was NBV's.

Sorry was a little vague, the isntance I was talking about wasn't wanting it in spanish to be patriotic or show pride in their culture. The story I heard was due to them not knowing enough english to understand it. I they watned it in spanish in like major things, sports games, schools, etc. My thoughts are, you reap what you sow. If they're going to come here and not put in the effort to learn english well, I don't have much respect for that. If you want success, you gotta put in serious effort. That's all i meant, that there are some people who want to benefit frmo our system, but aren't bothering to put anything into it.

Uh proof? Examples? If it's Mexicans you say are causing more trouble than they're worth then go ahead and send them back and watch what happens to the prices of all those services they so nicely provide getting substandard wages. On the whole immigrants are very essential precisely because they feel they need to succeed whereas Americans wrongly think they're safe in this country. You doubt that theres ANY immigrants that have a negative effect? I'm not denying that as a majority they help the economy and come with good values, but im saying that you can't apply that to absolutely all of them. In the news a year ago there was a thing going around abotu how people wanted the national anthem in spanish so they could understand it. I think that's a good example. There are people who come to this country, without wanting to put the effort in to do well and adjust to our way of life. They just want to piggy back off the system and try to reap benefits without putting anything in. I AM NOT SAYIGN THIS OF A SPECIFIC ETHNIC GROUP. I'm not saying mexicans are the ones doing this, altho some mexicans do, I'm not sayign its specifically asians doing this, tho some asians do. I'm just saying you can't apply an all or nothing argument to this. Oh and losa, yea there are tons of crappy schools, but dont judge the whole country on it, some areas are very good educationally too. In my county we have 3 high schools rated in the top 30 or so in the country. People in my high school think they suck at school if they have below a 3.5 GPA. We don't keep class rankings because they would have to determine who is better in the 1/3 of the school that has straight A's. We have so many AP/college courses that I can't count them, the average student probly takes 6 before leaving school. We have actualy (not AP, but real college teachers coming frmo a local university) taught at our school on a college schedule (2-3 day a week classes) that students showing good acadmic skill can take. We have at least 50 kids internting at NIH (National Ins!@#$%^&*utes of Healt) which is 30 minutes away. To make a long story short: for every awful school, there are good schools too.
