	Well launch everything as soon as its ready and bug free. Ill try keep the "zone status up2date in a more detailed version. Making annoucements doesnt seem right as we dont know how many problems will appear. All i can say for now is that there are several people activly working on the project. 	i just returned from holidays, so sorry for the late reply. I made a whole new gfx set for complex, including a new tileset. Its not a normal tileset, thers alot 3d lvz gfx in it. The gfx are done but the lvz work has to be done in the next week(s). Ill launch the whole gfx update as soon as everything is ready , final and bug free. Best regards -CreatiX

	Im opening a hidden private forum for the project. The people willing to help will receive an invitation/password shortly. Thers an overview of what needs to be done, the bots and an explaination of the used lvz files. Have you yet tested complex and all its gameplay features yet/have you seen the old bots in action? 	Hey, As you might know im owner of SSCC The CompleX. Im trying to get my zone running since august 2006, and i have been hoping and waiting since im SSCC hosted to find someone to help me out and edit a few bot-functions for the zone to be fun. As of bad cir!@#$%^&*stances, even Polix does have very few time now and its still not clear when or if !@#$%^&* be able to get to it or find someone to do it in exchange for the sscentral design. The design was gift to the community so more or less polix has offered his help for free. I cant get the zone working without those adjustments and after contacting so many people, waiting and hoping for now almost 6 months, you guys are more or less my last hope. So if any1 of you could help me out there, i could finally realese those new graphics and start the zone i have been developing and working for since years. 	Im happy you double checked by leaving me a ?message AND posting on the forums. This way youve got the honor to get your answer twice. These graphics have been used in 17th a lil back and are not in usage there anymore. As you can see, i dont depend on graphical work from others. I used them because i thought no one needs them anymore. if you request it, ill remove those graphics. sorry for any inconvience however. Best regards -CreatiX

	well i can replace the background star .bm2 pics with small (really) black pics wich will make them disappear. the other stars take their color from colors.bm2 afaik. ill just give it a try and let you guys know. however, polix still busy with ssc so i guess thers a little more patience needed.. best regards -cre

	Hey I just googled alot on ss history and found out priit is one of the main creators of kazaa and skype .. If im just slow and this is a commonly known fact, than why in the world does any1 wonder that priit is gone? i also read, that subspace started as an open beta under the name "Sniper" (1995) originally with 4 ships which later turned into "infantry"/"subspace" . Still my research left some open questions: I. Do these beta-versions (sniper, infantry) still exist somewhere? If so, where? If not, any screenshots/etc ? II. Whats the difference between Infantry and Subspace 1.0 ? I guess there was a 1.0, was there? III. They say that priit and mr ekted wrote cont without any access to the original 1.35 source - now hows that possible? IV. After going retail in 1997, there were only 7 ships so they implemnted the shark later on. When was that? V. In theory, shouldnt it be pretty easy to add more ships to ss/cont? (VIE obvisually made it possible to add new ships to the game easily - i cant imagine they let 28.8 k users download the complete game again if they knew b4 theyd make those updates/addons) VI. And last but not least: When exactly did VIE shutdown their game support and how many versions of Subspace were there between the retail release in 1997 and the VIE shutdown? Best regards -cre

	It turned out the concepts looked a bit heavy after implementing so heres a new concept, its not final. It should look like some kind of intergalactic capture point thats pretty rotten and damaged by combat. http://www.m33p.de/screen10.jpg i planned to add some damage textures and some other things such as wires that lead to the core in the center that provides the information "red team" as it is now, what you think? Ive found a way to really add some 3D ingame with those CP's by connecting them to the map. i also planned to remove any stars by lvz, to save fps and to make it look more base fight style. thatd atleast save some fps, what you think? just an idea though. it gives more opportunities for low-fps graphic features, cuz any bigger object with a sharp border doesnt look good if there are stars - Transparency and smooth borders kill fps. News for the tileset: Its gonna be a base-style tileset that looks damaged every here and there. Tryed to keep it not too shiny. Hope youll like it, ill release it with the new bots and few minor map updates. News also for the map/gameplay: You noticed thers a relativly long tube between the original spawn point (south/west border). Besides the spawnpoint that will look like concept 3, this is gonna be somewhat like the base of each team. a bit like in mods of warcraft 3, where you can produce your stuff+warp it to the battlefield. The enemy is not able to eneter this area. after having respawned you can either go and fight or use the warp portal ( the last picture ) to warp to a warp point. This point is active as soon as the own team has the ball. The ball herefor will turn into somewhat that doesnt look like a ball anymore, more like a pice of techinque. I dont plan to have it always on, but it adds another important gameplay issue and the possibility to warp directly into your team without loosing energy. It also turns ball gaming into something totally diffrent. There will also be flyover gameplay information so even when your in you can still see in a way how it works. But thats the plans for the day when the bots are done and we finally found someone that can help us a bit further. However, once there are people, this will definately be amazing. thers just so much you can do. Best regards -Cre
