The only thng i posted 3 days b4 first league match was whome against whome. it was clear since the first day of the signups when the first match will be held. however, 2nd sblball game is over and all games were played. non forfeit. id say give sblball as a very new league some time to warm up and get popular. ppl g2 rec its worth to show up. greetz Cre

More information about the league on jwl.17thparallel.com. However, the rules again: League Structure This league accepts a maximum of 16 squads. When more than 8 squads apply they are separated into two divisions of different skill level. The JWL staff will decide the squads that are in the Professional and Amateur Divisions. Sign-Ups and Disqualification Squads can sign up for JWL throughout its duration if there is space. A squad can be disqualified from the league if they miss two consecutive league games or three games overall. A squad can be disqualified if there is proper notification and evidence of it dissolving. Game-Play Rules A maximum of 8 squads compete within the JWL arena. If necessary the league will be played in two arenas. Squads can only be represented by players on their roster. The minimum number of eligible players is 6. The maximum number of players per squad allowed to start in a match is 4. The minimum number of players per squad allowed to start in a match is 3. Every player must use ship 2. Each player can participate until they reach 20 losses When all players representing a squad have reached 20 losses the squad is out. Squads can enter up to 5 minutes after the game starts but receive a 10 point penalty. Additional Basic Rules - No hiding. This includes entering a safe zone or avoiding enemy players. - No cheating. A moderator will be the judge of what is considered cheating. - No double-squadding. - No entering un-used names on the roster for any purposes. Subs!@#$%^&*utions Subs!@#$%^&*utes can be used at any time. They receive the deaths of who they replace. A squad can make a maximum of 2 subs!@#$%^&*utions per game. If a subs!@#$%^&*ution is necessary due to either the lag-limit or the maximum number of lag-outs being exceeded it must happen immediately. Lag-outs and leaving the game The maximum amount of lag-outs per player is 3.Once this limit is reached the player must be subs!@#$%^&*uted immediately or is eliminated. A player cannot re-enter the game if he/she has been out of action for more than 2 minutes (This is a combined time that can encomp!@#$%^&* all 3 lag-outs). They must be subs!@#$%^&*uted immediately or are eliminated. A player must notify the referee if he/she chooses to leave the game so their win/loss record can be recorded. If a player leaves or lags out of the game and does not return before completion the squad receives a penalty of 10 points. Lag-limits Average PING must not exceed 300ms Packet-loss must not exceed 3% Scoring Kill = 2 Death = -1 Bonus Points 1st Place = 2nd Place = 70 3rd Place = 60 4th Place = 50 5th Place = 40 6th Place = 30 7th Place = 20 8th Place = 10 Season Structure There are eight league matches. At the end of the season there is a final between the top 4 squads. All final points are worth triple that of the normal point system and are added to the points earned over the course of the season.   7. well, its in the periodic, and i also made an ad-gfx wich will go up on friday i think. ill ask the leaders wether they are interested. though, im not 2 sad that it gonna be a small league. small might be funnier anyway cuz every1 gets to play against every1. The first macth will be 02|26|05 3pm EST. Schedules gonna be on the website till sunday.

  9. hmm, im planning to run the league matches as normal sblball matches are beeing run: using F5 and /*lag . Hmm rish, u tried it 3 times and it failed? diddnt even recordnize there was sblball league b4. doubt u tried it 3 times in the 6 weeks i havent been around?! however, what was the reason for the league(s) to fail? so maybe i can learn from your mistakes.... The only way sblball league can fail in my eyes is a lack of interest from (gramatically right ?)the players. But no league is aware of that and ill try my best to make it popular. and about the early signups: the fact that they already opened are just a plus of time for the squads to get a team signed up. nothing else. uh oh, and beware will help me so im pretty sure it gonna be fun for the players and even staff aswell. -cre p.s. i dont like bots. i dont use them for hosting.

  15. We finally considered to bring up a SBLBall league. Any constructive critism is welcome. SBLBALL League Rules: I. Gameplay: 2 Teams of 5. 4 Javs + 1 Shark (goalie). Max. 2 subs. 2 rounds of 15 mins each. II. Rules: No warping. No attaching. No doublesqudding. Lag Limit: 4%ploss, 400 ms Standard SBLBALL rules. III. Scoring System: Soccer World Cup System 3 points for a win 1 point for a draw. IV. Signups Squad Signups. Squads must have 6 or more members to signup. Roster updates atleast 2 days b4 match starts. V. Time + place Not sure yet. Much likely every SUN 2-4 pm EST. ?go SBLball 1-3 VI. Coordination League Coord: Creatix Co-Coord : ? -CRE

I dont want to interrupt your lil argument, but think rifle and all these "upper staffers" do the best they can to improve the gameplay fun. though this shows that they know that pub sucks a bit, not only because they have been staff for long but for coming into 17th seeing 19 ppl in spec and 6v6 playing (as it often is). -*BAD WORD*-ing wont make any changes but making suggestions how to make pub better. though due to i have experienced it too many times, i dont think either that helps, cuz actually, staff listens to -*BAD WORD*-ing to much.
  17. Hey all. just wanted to announce "Team Tournament". If you dont read the news, here some information : A new, non squad based league is coming up! Its called Team Tournament. The basic gamplay rules are the 2v2 rules. It will be held in ?go tt. Here a short overview: Sytle : 2 vs 2 Player Ships : Javelins only Mode : Team looses when their Deaths combined equals Death Limit. Round : 2 Rounds. On 1:1 a final round to 10 happens. Score : 3 points/match. Division games and knockout finals. Follows Soccer World Cup System. Signup: Non squad based signup. Grap a friend and sign up as a "Team" on the website.   18. yeh well, that map got tested once but with another "version" of it. i liked it, not only because i made it but the newer version is much better though... i think it had been put down especially because of the ugly tileset

  21. No offense Roach, but why do you say something like that , and then, a few comments later you tell the absolute opposite? I think the problem of new maps in general are the "comments in affect". All these voices of ppl who dont really think about what their oppinion is at first and just blame a map or something someone has made. This wont lead us anywhere and lemme state one thing straight: This was not ment as a new map(as you have seen i diddnt touch east/west) it was a try to make the old map better. It was a try to bring north back to life and it seemed to me that ppl had fun. i wouldnt say after 2-3 days north is empty again, i think the new north was just easier to defend and you diddnt need hours to get all the flags. The tube is ment to be very small. Its main usage is, that the flags are easy to get if north is empty. I see the bounce problem aswell, but just make bounce more expensive and everyone will be fine again. Well, however, i think the north is better than the old north, but i dont think its so good that it would kill the soccer game...

I dont want you gona because i dont have a reason for that (SCREW THIS LANGUAGE). And you should not go because of this. There been other things, worse things in the past and you still sticked to 17th staff. Please stay.
