  1. map, graphics and code are done. i need the graphics/anims tested and implemented (->lvz (its kinda complex with alot of anims, not just some quick-placed-mapobjects - so itll need some time and tweaking) you interested?
  2. nah ill probably be the last one to play the game (well right after mike ! Reason you diddnt see me was i was hiding in development zones. sscc zone was subgame, we ported it to as3 - well tc did it. as told im not gonna come up with complex until its !really! done and it wouldnt be wise to upload anything to public arenas before that. @ sam ull be my emergency option, is there anyone with more time?
  3. Hey i really had no time to do any dev stuff for complex in the past 6 months. Im so tired of not getting the whole thing done although code/gfx are - im looking for someone who is good @ dcme/lvz, i simply dont have the time to do it on my own. im willing to pay if necessary!   4. jabjab, thanks alot for these brilliant graphics, i will use them + give u credit if you dont mind. What program did u use to make them? Could you add 4 tiny blinking lights/lamps to one of the big models? thatd look awesome... Also id like to offer something, could u contact me? thanks in advance and keep up the good work!
  5. i wonder why your server is that expensive freak? Ive got a really good root-server (http://www.hetzner.de/de/hosting/produkte_rootserver/eq6/) which i run 15 Counter-Strike Source servers on for only 70 €/month. The latency is great (however its a german host), but I dont really use it for anything else atm nor do i have to host those CSS servers on it. I wouldnt mind to let u or any other SSC host use it if needed. just let me know.

  8. sry, cant edit the topic title for some reason. it should be: Advertise Continuum via Steam? Do you think it would be legal to let Steam host/link us as a free game? me thinks we might get alot more attention if we would be avialable for download there, too.

  12. mark the section you want to loop. convert selection to pattern. make a layer and fill the region you want. select patterns in the layers properties select your pattern and have opacity on 100%. i got the german version, no clue if this is a help.. xxx -cre

  17. No clue wether any1 suggested yet. If we could port cont for (good) mobile phones, we could get alot more pop and save cont from dying.

I havent seen the new functions/modules yet and cant wait to see them! and over all im really glad to hear you could make progress tc! we might want to try to catch each other in ss, will you be on in the next 2 days? -- As for code testing purpose, public tests seem useful to me. gfx and new map arent implemented yet and i dont plan to come up with them until its really done, so full release will take more time.   19. hey tv ! good to see ur still around =) do you think it will keep people from playing the zone if you need to download something from an external mirror b4 beeing able to play? The rest of the gfx have the same "style". I might be posting more screens as soon as more gfx are implemented. So yes I really need help with implementing the gfx (lvz makin/positioning gfx) - i just dont have enough time... ill send you a mail about it.. -cre

  21. hey sam! im really glad someone finally posted a reply!! i havent used any sounds so far - however im unsure i can really reduce the filesize... do you have some spare time btw? i could really use some support implementing the graphics (i think thats one important reason why everything is taking so long... thanks for your tips btw! xxx -cre
  22. Hey ! again some devblogging: tc and me are still working on it ^^ . I finished all the needed animations and implemented them. tc currently redoes the logic as we toggle full anims now, instead of 100eds of *objons. Looks pretty - however this causes the Zone files to be around 20 MB. ...do you think itd be acceptable for the users to download the zone files from an http mirror? About the attached screenshot: You can see the green base (spawnpoint) in the center of the circle. I redid the map so now there are only 3 Control Points. You can warp to the points you captured by moving onto 1 of the 3 portals around the spawn point - on this picture A and B are on (captured) but C isnt (you cant use it). i also attached 2 pictures out of the capture animation - hope to get some feedback on it! xxx -cre P.s. Still havent found a good tileset, any suggestions?
  23. what do you think we need to attract young people (besides better graphics) ? i agree with nbv and others - this is what we need to keep cont alive.. if people sit together and create a good concept on how we can achieve that goal, im willing to help where needed. but some1 has to start.. -cre
  24. a big thanks to everyone who motivated us by showing interest here on forums and ss. Thanks especially to those, who activly helped the project in 2008 as with sharing modules, programming or letting us use their server. To shorten the time left until the release, i made a short clip of how capturing one of the freshly designed capture points will look like.
