Hey guys, I need your opinion. I know this entire description is long, but it is important for everything to I have been working on making minor changes to the settings, adding GFX, and using the new tileset again in a subarena. While I was doing this I thought of a very interesting gameplay. Here is the general stuff: 5 flags jackpots are closer to kill points buyable ships 2 bases only 2 teams only possibly a ball, with a goal in each base Here is the idea: There are two bases, one for each team, and each team spawns in an area in their base. The goal of the game is to get all 5 flags that appear in center, and drop them in your flag room. However, each player can only pick up one flag at a time, and if the flag is not dropped into the flag room, it is reset and brought back to center. Once you drop all 5 flags in your flag room, you win the jackpot. As well, there are "warp tunnel" within your base that allow your team to move to different locations in the base, or to center. If the enemy steals a flag from your base, they have the ability to use this warp tunnels to get further down your base, and back to their flag room. As an added aspect, there are 3 levels of ship buying. For each credit/scorereset period you must earn credits (points) in order to be able to buy the pernament use of a ship. All players will start with all ships in level one: Level 1 Ships: 2, 5, and 8 In order to buy a ship from level 2, they must have enough points. Level 2 Ships: 4 and 7 In order to buy a ship from level 3, they must have enough points and they must have bought a ship from level 2. Level 3: Ships 1, 3 and 6 The ships from level 3 are very hard to obtain and require a lot of points/work. Once you buy one ship from a level, the other ships will be available with a small discount. There may also be the ability to "sell" a ship, ie. if you have a ship you do not use, you can sell it back for half the price, and recieve those credits to buy another ship if desired. The other buyable functions (warping, etc) will also still be available at LOW costs. Any player new to the zone recieves bonus credits for joining the zone. This is a one-time offer only (there will be some sort of database of player names that are kept track of via the alias bot). Credits are donatable. The map will consist of two bases, both similar, but containing several different advantage points that are useful to certain ships only. The center area will be large enough to allow for fraying between players. There will still be a center green area where flags/balls will appear. Freqs are controlled by the bot. When new players are entering the game, they are randomly !@#$%^&*igned a team and can not switch. If many players exit from one team, and there is a large (at least 3 players) difference between teams, there will be an automatic transfer of players from the larger team to the smaller team in order to make the game even. Once a team wins, both teams are reshuffled and the game resumes. This is to make sure that the games are always fair. Antiwarp will be permitted in any area in the zone. Remember: level 1 ships contain no stealth or cloak. Two ships contain xradar and the other antiwarp. Considering this, they can not be considered "weak" over level 2 and level 3 ships. Cloaking ships are not added to the game until a player has bought a level 3 ship that does contain cloak.
