i think the idea is that a turret isn't you, so why do you get XP for kills when you didn't do any of the work, except to wear a turret. But i think i'd rather still see the turret toned down a little. Getting no XP from your turret seems a bit extreme at this point..

having ships banned from center or nerfed in center and not in base.. creates settings for different ships under differing circumstances which is dumb and should be avoided at all costs.. Who wants ships to suddenly change settings depending on the area or action they are in? That is utterly retarded. Just fix tempest. Easy fix is to make it so after it fires 3 bombs, the energy of turret is low, and the recharge has to catch up... Changing bomb speed is too much of a nerf, and i quite enjoy the fast bombs. Just not so much the fast fire rate. Just because tempest is nerfed slightly in center, doesn't mean lanc can't get XP. There is tons of XP to be had in a base game, no matter how shit the ship is. So that nullifies Unix's argument outright. And i am surprised Unix is saying one sided and dumb things lately. But nerfing the fire rate of tempest won't make Lanc useless in center. Especially since most lancs have defenders in center anyway, or they team up 2 lancs vs all.

meh i dislike twitter too, and facebook, and google.. but i see no problem with what spidernl is doing.. especially since it doesn't require sign up to twitter to view the stats. As well, google i am forced to use because its useful, no matter how much i want to boycott them.. and facebook just sucks, sorry needed to get that in there.. heh. Is it possible to make the game automatically e-mail you? If you provide an e-mail to the bot? not sure if this was already covered, but i am tired, and didn't really understand.. i think e-mails would be better than twitter.. because i actually check my e-mail once a day.. myself.. and i don't use twitter.. personally.

Repel works, and i always have 2 repels on me, so that team sucked if they all died to thors.. lol But yeah you can up the delay between buying thors if you want. So you can only buy 2 at a time, and have to wait 1 minute, to get your next 2? But if 5 people buy 2 thors, its still 10 thors at once.

actually 90% of my posts you guys make about me, i just indulge you.. and then the topic becomes derailed.. The above post is more of rare occurance, where i actually talk about myself. Though i do, i use myself as a simple example sometimes, to explain a more complex idea. At any rate narcissim is a good characteristic of a troll.

Dying isn't being rewarded, playing the game is, so just switch death kills to flight hours. 1xp every 5 minutes you are playing, or something. With a 10xp bonus for every hour. And 100XP bonus when you reach certain in game hours. No unix intent isn't that much different between XP for deaths and XP for kills. People can die over and over and give XP to their friends. Both can be abused. And like i said in the end it's really boring to do anything that is repetative. Flying to the same spot and dying for example is boring. No one has the stamina to do that for more than an hour. If they did they would be specced. The other day i gave someone 300xp by constantly dying to them. This is equivalent to giving myself 100 XP by dying 100 times, if death gave XP. The difference is Death XP at 1, is so low, i'd rather just kill someone and get 10xp. However i agree with Spidernl's Last statement, one could just lower XP requirements for everything except the Signature items.

People can die on purpose now and the xp goes to the enemy constantly. They can be friends and do that. People self kill all the time, it's called being lame and not caring.. basing etc.. Lets not get into what ifs and can be's. XP for dieing is a decent idea as XP for killing. Both could be abused, and in both cases abusers would eventually get a ban. Or ultimately no one would care, and the cost of abusing = bordom, Trust me i've done it, for about an hour, i kept leaving NKZ and running into a bomb line, a boring repetative act. Fun comes in when you actually try to live and die every time. That's different. And of course winning is the most fun. Unless that too becomes repetative?

Actually considering i was/am a new player, i can tell you the experience from starting until now was fun. But now it's kind of boring. I'm at 4k experience. Getting the 4k was easy. Getting from 4k to 7k is a bitch. I suspect that once a bunch of other people reach 7K, experience, then, when i kill them i'll get 9 or 10xp? Or i dunno..
