That's easily solved, because if anyone specs the timer resets for them. (They are now considered new players) For the module to recognize you've been in the game the longest (say 1 hour) you actually need to be in the game. Once you leave the game in any way, the module recognizes that you've been in the game for 0 minutes. And starts a new timer if you enter the game again. This can further be helped, by adding a command ?pee break, where if someone needs to pee the module will spec them for 5 minutes maximum, and the module will still recognize their 1 hour. If 2 new players enter the game, the module will recognize that they are new, and put them on the team with the least players. The module can also fully be capable to put one new player on one freq, and the other new player on the other freq if needed. If two people leave the game and the game is 7vs4 aftward (The module can warn players that someone will be switched if no new players enter) After 3 minutes, it can switch a player from the 7 player team, to the 4 player team (obviously choosing the player whose been their the least amount of time) If all players have been there 1 hour. Then i guess it's random selection. But again its not likely everyone was there at the same time. And people are less likely to complain if you told them the guy with least time on the team was switched. It's a win/win. I honestly don't see a problem just excuses? Okay your busy and can't code everything yourself all the time, but don't say its impossible to make a nice a bot/module that can consider everything. A bot/module is like a good referee, and with a nice module you can shape the gameplay anyway you like. It's possible. Can it be done? No your busy, or can't code it right now. That's fine. As long as you accept there is room for improvement.

Brain so you agree with post #92? Because what you said about shutting down hyperspace doesn't make sense. Especially if you and polix are on the same page, and disagree with skewed population counts. Once HS is removed with all other zones. It's a matter of simply coming back, (which im sure polix would allow) and displaying HS with a proper population. Other zones won't come back, and if they do they need to agree to display proper populations. Then if they break pop count display again, polix would remove them for good. No need for HS to protest. Cheese if you agree people should have a criminal record, and possibly up to 2 years in jail for stealing a loaf of bread. (3$ item) then sure. It is the same as stealing 500$ from a store. (though i think the actual law is that anything over 1000$ is serious - only achievable if you lifted something worth that much, or stole from a store over a long period of time and accumulated merchandise adding up to 1000$ or more) However i never agreed with society on that aspect. Some people can't feed themselves, and 3$ is not something to lose your life over. Sure the person could have realized this, but they were desperate and not in a sound state of mind. Stealing will always be stealing, but 3$ is less than 1000$, and that's a fact. You can't treat it as the same thing. For murder, i can kill a cat, and i may not even be prosecuted, but if i kill a human i will get 20 to life. Murder is murder, but it's not the same crime according to the law even. So really if someone was to give punishments. Excessive force, excessive anything, gets the greater punishment under the law. Someone who pirates 1000's of videos, and songs, and opens a website to help steal this content, will go to jail for 10-20 years. Someone like me who steals one song will get a warning. AGAIN, stealing is stealing, but the first guy gets the greater punishment.

This reminds me of someone i knew in highschool named robert, where he marked my shirt, so i marked his back, so he marked mine twice back, (one to be even, and one to get ahead) and we went back and forth until we looked like zebras. Needless to say i had to steal his pen because he was going crazy, and then it was finally over. But this kid would do something back to you 5x more extreme, than you what you did in the first place.

So the module doesn't switch the person with the lowest time played on that team/freq? (this is common sense) i can't believe spidernl or anyone is that oblivious to the obvious.. As well as focusing on switching the new player that just entered the game making teams uneven in the first place..

Can you take a picture of the game on your phone and upload it? Oh and that double kill glitch, exists on subspace too. Though my guess is it doesn't happen as often. But i would say it happened to me once a week at least. Or i've seen it once a week, when another player got a kill. People would die twice. Just in case no one ever experienced this, i wanted to say it's not a new problem. It happens on the continuum client too.

If all the zones will be removed. Including Hypserspace. All you have to do is, tell Polix you will display correct populations. Then polix will add you back. (You'll be the first zone back, meaning you can display correct population now, since no other zones are back yet) All the other zones will still be offline (because they were removed) until they agree to the terms of having ssc access. (Displaying correct populations) So why would you shut down hyperspace for good? From there if a zone breaks population display again, polix will just have them removed. So there is no reason for you to protest by inflating your population again.

Still lots of threats, and no actions.. either way. Plus if Brain shutdown Hypserspace for a reason like that, it would make him the next Hoch. Tons of players enjoying hyperspace. Is there any update on when or if zones will display correct populations?

Just wondering what the criteria is for names not to expire exactly? So far what i gathered was Joining a squad Having some ?usage I'm wondering how much usage exactly. And how long that usage will let you hold the name. How often do names need to be logged into? Once a month? Once a year? Some names expire/reset if not used. Is there a forumla based on the usage for how long a name lasts? 100 hours gets you 2 years no logins? 500 hours, gets you 5 years no logins etc? Login resets timer? Is it even that sophisticated?

Disabling DEP might make continuum work, but it's not whats causing the problem since DEP being active on other PCs doesn't interfere with continuum. I was reading one of the old threads linked in the Tutorial Polix posted. And they were discussing how continuum works in sandbox. Sandbox happens to give an ideal environment since its a virtual PC. So with a proper computer you can run continuum or anything without problems? So it's likely a specific difference between Pure1's PC and mine. Maybe hardware? or drivers? But i doubt it's a specific program or setting.. especially when i have the same program or setting and my continuum works. And these issues existed more predominantly in 2008. Years ago. Why are they still persisting for some people? I was thinking maybe they are downloading an old version of the installer. But they said they got continuum from getcontinuum website.

What does DEP have to do with anything? I have DEP by default selected for all programs. And continuum has always worked. How would adding continuum to the exception list make it work? If DEP works with continuum for my PC, why would anyone else's be different? Like before when people said it can be the antivirus, if the antivirus and continuum work with my PC, then why is anyone's PC any different? It would mean it's not the programs themselves that are causing the problem.

Samapico if you think i should do that, then people should do that if they see Hitlers Oven (hide names, hide enter and exit, ignore the player etc), i totally agree with you. Also i wasn't being an ass, i wasn't even typing when that happened. If someone is being an ass in conjunction with their name, then i can understand how the name becomes offensive. Otherwise it's just a name. And they weren't willing to kick me, just the name. i was allowed back in under other names, where then if i wanted to be an ass i could have been. And still i don't see how Jew is offensive. That's like saying being called Greek will offend me or is offensive. Or Italian is an insult. Or Paki, which is short for pakistani. You just make something taboo which shouldn't be taboo. In a way encouraging the community in the wrong direction... Your missing the point though, i was told my name is wrong in the past, because one person complained to a mod that the name offended them. One out of a hundred. That was the reason i wasn't permitted to use the name. Someone got offended. If this is what people base their reasoning on, it's logically flawed, because i am offended by Penis names but it seems okay suddenly to be offended over certain names than others. (the argument being its offending someone.) And there are many other things which offend people, from people in game, language, other names, even play style, etc. So the point being is that simply getting offended is not a reason to prohibit another persons 'freedom' of expression. Of course no zone has to change their rules, Dav. As for the reason Dick and Penis offend me in a game. It's because unlike the general masses i am not accustomed to family guy. Vulgar, stupid, rude things are not considered by me to be funny. So if i was banned originally, i wouldn't have access to any original name. So making a new name doesn't mean a person switched names. Cheese that's a lot of repressed anger. Hitlers Oven has nothing to do with genocide. Also the name 'genocide' is not banned/forbidden. Looks like genocide is not considered offensive. Hitler is a person in History, they write his name in school books. He has a wiki page. Ovens are cooking devices. I see nothing about Jews there. Jews were gassed to death, not cooked. Again it comes down to how a person is when they use a name, and not the name itself.
